What A Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong Cover -HIVE Open Mic 79

Hey Folks

This is my song for HIVE Open mic 79.

I wasn't going to play anything this week as I was having trouble thinking of a song to suit the theme.

A couple of days ago a video for Louis Armstrong's What a wonderful world popped up on my youtube recommended list and I figured why not take a shot at it this week.

The other thing is that I dont currently have a fully stringed guitar, my Brunswick guitar was the only one with a decent set of strings and I snapped the high E string a couple of days ago.

For this video I just threw the capo on the first fret and went for it, I figure its better than nothing so here it is....:)

"What A Wonderful World"
Louis Armstrong

I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and for you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by

I see friends shaking hands
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying
"I love you"

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and for you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world
