Hola, mi querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic, después de varias semanas sin poder participar me encuentro nuevamente activa en este maravilloso evento que une a músicos y amantes de la música de todo el mundo. En esta semana 162 la temática propuesta por nuestro reciente artista destacada @maryjacy es "Be Okey" (Estar bien).
¿Qué es "estar bien"? Es el sentirnos a gusto con lo que somos, con lo que hacemos, con lo que tenemos, con lo que ocurre, con lo que nos rodea. A veces no estamos bien por una parte pero sí lo estamos por otra y es en esa en la que nos apoyamos para seguir adelante.
Yo esto "okey" y contenta hoy de poder participar nuevamente en Hive Open Mic y esa alegría es un punto de apoyo y de fortaleza ante las circunstancias adversas que se presentan.
>Hello, my dear Hive Open Mic community, after several weeks without being able to participate, I am once again active in this wonderful event that unites musicians and music lovers from all over the world. In this week 162 the theme proposed by our recent Spotlight Artist @maryjacy is "Be Okey" (Being well).
What is "be Okey"? It is feeling comfortable with who we are, with what we do, with what we have, with what happens, with what surrounds us. Sometimes we are not well on one side but we are on the other and that is where we rely on to move forward.
I am "okay" and happy today to be able to participate again in Hive Open Mic and that joy is a point of support and strength in the face of the adverse circumstances that arise.
La canción que les voy a interpretar es una canción "llanera", es decir, de un género musical muy popular en los llanos venezolanos. Originalmente la interpretó [Reyna Lucero](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reyna_Lucero). Su letra narra el caso de una dama cuyo amor se fue lejos con otra mujer, ella le habla al carrao, ave... y le pide que lo vaya a buscar en compañía del gallito lagunero, y que le digan que ya no soporta tanto dolor y llanto, que lo perdona, que regrese a su lado. Entre tanta tristeza, ella conserva la esperanza de que regrese y le dice al carrao que le pregunte si la quiere o la aborrece.
Entre su tristeza y soledad, esta dama busca tres puntos de apoyo: la esperanza, el perdón y su amistad con el carrao. Espero les agrade este canto que presento a ustedes con el apoyo de mis amigos:

Este video es otra producción de la Agrupación Musical "Venezuelan Power", grupo de amigos y familiares que nos reunimos a hacer música.
Por sugerencia de nuestros amigos @jesuslnrs y @fernanblog buscamos un nombre para nuestra "banda" y luego de recibir varias propuestas realizamos unas votaciones y quedó seleccionado "Venezuelan Power", propuesto por @fernanblog.
The song that I am going to interpret for you is a "llanera" song, that is, from a very popular musical genre in the Venezuelan plains. Originally played by Reyna Lucero. Its lyrics narrate the case of a lady whose love went away with another woman, she talks to the carrao bird and asks it to go look for him in the company of the lagoon cockerel, and to be told that she can't stand so much anymore pain and crying, that sheforgives him, that she neeeds he return to her side. She can't live anymore with so much sadness, she retains the hope that he will return and tells the cart to ask if he loves her or hates her.
Between her sadness and loneliness, this lady looks for three points of support: hope, forgiveness and her friendship with the carrao bird.

This video is another production of the "Venezuelan Power" Musical Group, a group of friends and family who get together to make music.
At the suggestion of our friends @jesuslnrs and @fernanblog we looked for a name for our "band" and after receiving several proposals we carried out some votes and "Venezuelan Power" was selected, proposed by @fernanblog.
