Hive Open Mic Week 156 "Ayúdala" (Help Her) Cover By @carmenrivas

@wbrandt

@barbyjr Grabación
@hermaryrc Coros

Greetings to all my dear Hive Open Mic community. Congratulations on your anniversary week.
Today with the theme "to the extreme" proposed by @wbrandt Spotlight Artist of our community.
There is a song called "Ayúdala" (Help her) performed by the unforgettable Spanish vocalist Mari Trini.
Based on its lyrics, a telenovela (soap) starring Caridad Canelón was made here in Venezuela. I never actually saw it but @hermaryrc did and she told me about it.

Broadly speaking, it is the drama of a married man who falls in love with another woman and when he goes to tell his wife to get a divorce, he finds that she has terminal cancer and "the other" tells him to help her wife, to make her happy the time she have left of life, that does not cause her pain. He dedicates himself to caring for his wife and it is only after she dies that they resume their sentimental relationship and form a home.
An extreme case, a love without selfishness. The song's lyrics are super emotional, the music is great, and Mari Trini's interpretation (you'll see it in her video) is excellent.

In this production of the Musical Group "Venezuelan Power" (a group of friends, family and relatives who came together to make music and who were suggested by @jesuslnrs and @fernanblog that we name it. Among several proposals submitted to a vote, he won by majority " Venezuelan Power" devised by @fernanblog) supported me:

@barbyjr Recording
@hermaryrc Choirs
@orlandobello Percussion (Off camera due to severe flu and conjunctivitis affecting him at the moment)
@sayury Cuatro venezuelan, publication of the post

Let's enjoy the excellent interpretation made by Mari Trini of this song

Letra de la canción

Ayúdala,
pon sus pies sobre la tierra
sin que apenas se de cuenta
pero no quiebres sus alas
hoy teñidas de esperanza

Ayúdala
que yo existo no le digas
es tu amante, es tu amiga
la elegiste libremente
mientras yo te sonreía
te alejabas de mi vida

Y jamás dejes de amarla
en su mundo búscala
si su estrella se ha perdido
roba otra y dásela
yo te ruego que la quieras
y la aceptes como es
es un astro un velero
una lluvia hecha deseo por caer

Ayúdala pon un sol en su ventana
júrale que antes de ella
el placer era una trampa
haz que brillen sus mejillas
miéntele cuando le hablas

Ayúdala y no te separes de ella
ya no tiene veinte años
aunque hablando los parezca
sus ojeras maquilladas
son azules como el alba

Y jamás dejes de amarla
en su mundo búscala
si su estrella se ha perdido
mata otra y dásela
yo te ruego que la quieras
y la aceptes como es
es un astro un velero
una lluvia hecha deseo por caer

Lyrics

Help her,
put her feet on the ground
without hardly noticing
but don't break ther wings
today tinged with hope

Help her
that I exist do not tell her
is your lover, is your friend
you chose her freely
while I smiled at you
you were walking away from my life

And never stop loving her
in her world look for her
if her star has been lost
steal another and give it to her

I beg you to love her
and accept her as she is
she is a sailboat, she is a star
she is a rain made desire to fall

Help her put a sun in her window
swear to her that before her
pleasure was a trap
make her cheeks shine
lie to her when you talk to her

Help her and don't separate from her
she's not twenty anymore
although speaking she seems
her dark circles made up
they are blue as dawn

And never stop loving her
in her world look for her
if her star has been lost
kill another and give it to her
I beg you to love her
and accept her as she is
she is a sailboat, she is a star
she is a rain made desire to fall
