Yum! Last week's event Hive Open Mic theme gave us a collection of songs speaks to the delicious side of life. I'm happy to say we had a great turnout, with tasty songs from around the globe: Ireland, Indonesia, Venezuela, USA... Our community works toward global harmony each and every week, celebrating the music of many languages, from many nations. Let's have a listen.

English: Every single one of this man's original songs speaks to me on a deep level. I love the finale of this song: "Yum, Yum, Yum..." So special. What a treat! This song is a good example of @lecumberre's special way of singing to the present moment, giving a voice to the collective current. My heart flutters, because just last week I had to say goodbye to our adorable cat, Beija—a source of smiles and kisses, a queen of our home.

I really enjoy the presentation of this song, situated outdoors in a park with art on the walls and smoke in the foreground.Yes, and I appreciate the fact that this song blends two languages: Acehnese and English. What a cool way to celebrate two nations—two that make up a global community and family.

English: @ylich consistently makes a great effort to acknowledge the composer of each and every song he shares here on Hive. I appreciate the way he gives credit, while also giving us a history lesson, so we learn at the same time as we're enjoying his live music. This Argentinean waltz is a song he knew from his childhood.

My entry this week is a new creation story, imagining an artist's musical expression as the origin of all existence. It's song with "Hum, Yum, Aum," and a suitable edge to it, for the Scorpio season. The energy is a blend of mystery, romance, passion, and creativity—the distinctive qualities of a Scorpio.
Appreciation
Hive Open Mic showcases Hive's gifted and talented musicians. I honor these artists for expressing themselves in a way that creates connection. To me, we all benefit through the camaraderie between musicians and music fans, sharing a musical vibration. Please join me in extending our gratitude through claps, finger snaps, comments, upvotes, and tips to the individual musicians.

Here's a simple stage performance by Pop star Justin Bieber, singing with accompaniment from live musicians and action-packed dancers. The presentation is full of artistry, with surprising elegance and artful expression.

I am grateful for the various ways this event stretches me as a music maker and a generous listener. I enjoy the surprises, discovering songs that inspire me. I get the impression we're all making progress, sharing our art with the world, making steady steps toward Global Harmony. And our unique way of honoring artists is centered around live music.
