Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. It is crazy how some people turn out to be after rushing to acquire wealth in a dirty way. The rule of karma always have a way of playing out. No wonder patience is a virtue is always echoed by coaches, mentors, motivational speakers , religious leaders etc. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.
I was in a taxi on my way home from work this evening when we saw a man walking by the side of the road looking unkempt from head to toes muttering a lot of words to himself at the same time. One of the passengers know this man very well. He said they both lived in the same neighborhood some years back and he was very rich and famous. He was living in a gigantic house with numerous cars in his compound. All of a sudden, he became as poor as a church rat. He's now homeless and walks around the city without any tangible thing he wants to go and do. Reports circulating around the neighborhood, according to the passenger in the taxi is that he did some sort of money making rituals which has backfired.
The journey of life does not require rushing more than one's shadows - patience is important. We all like good things of life but we need not rush to achieve them. I have friends who bought cars when I was in the university, it was quite intimidating and all but I didn't let it get to me. Some of them sold the cars even before we finished school because they couldn't manage it. A car was not the best for them at that moment, it was all for showoff.
Rome, they say wasn't built in a day, it takes a gradual process to achieve greatness. You don't need to rush, take each step at a time and keep moving from one step to another, to another, till you will accomplish your goal.
Don't be like the man who rushed to acquire wealth, don't put your life on a fast forward, take it easy.
