It's another week with a wonderful topic. First, I want to thank the hive Naija community for the opportunity given to me to express my ideas and for their votes on my last post on the prompt, my environment, and also to everyone that voted for me to rank 3rd, my sincere appreciation.
My choice of sport may seem weird, but I can't overlook the joy I derive from it. Wrestling is a form of sport where two people are involved in a physical fight. Although most of these fights are scripted, the activeness the wrestlers put in made it look real.
My love for wrestling grew up with me because that was the first sport I grew to understand. I have uncles I watched the sport with, and after I mastered all they did in the ring, I would do a replay for my uncle until I grew up and got to understand that some of the stunts in the ring were staged. Wrestling is a sport that has been in existence for ages, and it became more relevant in the 19th century, which led to the development of modern Greco-Roman wrestling on the European continent and of freestyle wrestling and collegiate wrestling in Great Britain and the United States.
This great sport birthed the world-known World Wrestling Entertainment industry we know today as WWE. This industry has produced several superstars who are making waves in the world, including Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, Sean Michaels, Triple H, The Undertaker, and so on. Many people now want their children to find their way into the wrestling world, as it is one of the best-selling sports in the world.
Wrestling has become a professional career in today's generation, but as a lady, it is kicked against in this part of the world because of the fragile nature of a woman, but it is openly appreciated overseas. I never missed any match done by the WWE, and this made me keep updated on any upcoming events. I am a local supporter, but at that time I kept following them to know what was next in line for the year, and this made me write on the last concluded Backlash on the community WOO Game.
Wrestling is my favorite sport because it keeps me entertained, and I never get tired of watching any match over and over again.
