It was on a friday evening when she had a beautiful day from morning. She prepared just a meal which was getting to afternoon time. At least breakfast and lunch have been merged together for her and she didn't see her stomach accepting any other food perhaps till the next day but it seems it was deceiving her.

Later in the evening, she was outside with other students as they were gisting when all of a sudden, her tummy was growling and making some sounds signaling to her that it's time for another meal. She checked her time and it was 7:00pm and being the lazy one in cooking and besides she doesn't cook any food when it's getting down to 6:00pm. That's her routine though except on some days when she would have gone out from morning for lectures and preparing a little portion of meal won't be a bad idea.

She then summoned the other two ladies to escort her to the school market to get some suya meat. They all went together, talking about life and the happenings around the world till they got to the Mallam selling Roasted Meat.

The Mallam as usual gave her a little meat to taste before selling to her.

"How much own you won buy?" Speaking in pidgin meaning how much are you buying?

She said "#300 own" which is like $0.6.
After getting the meat, they turned back leaving for home as they continued in their discussion.

She got home and headed inside to prepare her cold tea which has always been her favorite. She doesn't like her tea hot.

She shared her meat with the ladies. Then the meat got finished immediately since it wasn't much in it.

That was how she was filled for the night and went inside into the Dreamland.

This was my day on Friday when I was thinking of what to eat for dinner until I got an idea of buying suya with tea.
Thanks for reading 😉😉
