You need to see the reaction of people this morning in my area, Life is supposed to get better and not the other way round, the hardship is becoming worst day by day, looking for money is not easy but spending it now is as easy as anything. Back are those days when you can use just a thousand naira and have two polythene bags of quality goods, but reverse is the case now, all in a thousand naira is just for you to break it into hundreds then everything follows the wind, you can't even count profitably what you used the money for.
It has now bumped into the poor masses arena too, I understand in some big places like Lagos and Abuja in Nigeria, there is high cost of living unlike some poor growing states like Nasarawa State Nigeria, the rate of purchasing items in those big places has always been high due to the kind of people living there "high cost of living" but the network has fully reached my side now, other goods price has inflate and people are trying to cope up with it and now the little sachet water we could easily afford for ten naira has shoot up to twenty naira, you need to see people's reactions in the community, this are people that hardly feed three square meals at home now they are been deprived the privilege of taking sachet water outside home, this means wherever we go to when we are tasty we will have to locate ourselves back to our houses before we can quench the taste, so annoying. This also means that whichever meal you consume outside home you have to come back home to drink water from your borehole or from your well as the case maybe Or even from the well.
This kind of situation can produced bad results actually, take a look at it, if people should continue taking water from unclean source it will result to diseases, cholera, diarrhoea and many more. It's really awful. What if the people decide to go on protest about this current happenings it can result to another issue because the grievance in their hearts can be felt through their scary complaints and reactions. Well, according to some of the sachet water industries they are complaining of the materials they use to produce the sachet water is the big issue there because almost everything has shoot up in price and gone scarce availability, so if they should sell it in favor of the people they will loose completely which makes the aim of doing the business to be defeated.
Hmm, other states might have actually started this way too before they could adapt, I hope my community people accept the current situation we've found ourselves into, most of all I hope the government makes things better and easier sooner, I hope my country gets better.
