A Typical Village Setting - Pen Drawing

This is an imaginative drawing which depicts a typical Village scene in Africa. Most of this buildings can be found in the rural arers of South south and southeastern parts of Nigeria. For the northern side, the shape of the buildings are often tall and circular.

Features...

There are two buildings constructed with a raffia palm and a red mud are on the right side. A long chair can be seen close to first building as well as a drum for storing water which is farther.

A palm tree, mango tree and coconut tree are located at the back of the buildings. There are also grasses that have over grown. A woman can be seen carrying a pot of water on her head. She must be coming back from the stream.

One the left side, there are two small creatures. One is a rooster while the other is a hen.
