An Eye-opener. (Immigration)

It's better to live like a lion in the jungle than to love like a dog in the city. This statement is often made by people who have not had the opportunity to migrate.

We are leaving the responsibility to nobody to make it happen somewhere else forgetting that all that we go there to meet was the sacrifice someone made that gave such a beautiful structural economy.

Just like the Asian Tiger who once cut down the salary of every individual in the economy just to increase their savings which is one of the reasons they now pay every individual even more than expected to meet their basic needs without struggling.

Nigeria my country

Where I come from the case is different, instead of saving the money for the betterment of the future economy the money that has been saved is looted into one personal account.

And then stories of how the snake swallowed the money follows.

Innocent school children fighting for their future.

A country where we were told that education is the key to success but we struggled through school and when we graduated we discovered the padlock to success has been changed as school doesn't open it again.

A country where citizens who live in another country do protest for the sake of the country peacefully but the country itself can not guarantee a peaceful protest for itself.

What we called Peaceful protest

I have not seen a country where the leadership sees the masses as stupid people with no regard for whether they know what they are doing or not.

How money is being looted and a funny story follows it is what amazes me in the country where I come from.

How do you expect people to stay back and follow the train that doesn't know its destination? It's like traveling forever without getting to where you want to go.

The trend on daily basis headlines is always one scandal or the other even when you get to hear of something better it turns out to be a scam.

What do you expect people to do in such an economy?

When their so-called right is violated, in this case it is better to be like a dog in the city where you will be respected and recognised as a dog than to stay as a lion in the jungle but still can not roar.

I still support the case of immigration because it's an eye-opener it helps to expose people to diverse cultures, politics and even how economic matters are been handled and when you come back to your base you become a better version of yourself with a lot of ideas on how to manage your life without having to stress.

So please I implore that we move out to see how other people manage to make things better so maybe if we can not achieve it as a country we will achieve it as an individual and gradually it will become the lifestyle of the country.

If we can have 70 percent of the population with this great mindset I believe we will have a better nation and we won't have to migrate instead we will have people come here to see and explore our country as well.

No matter what i will still love my country the drama and everything is what keeps us going.

One love ✌
