“The River of Stars Part 4”

I created this cut paper art and drew this background. This page of the story doesn't have any sentences. Just this image. I shared this image before I completed this translation. After the man fell into the icy cold river, what is going to happen to him? The next part 5 will describe more details. I will share it soon.

This background painting is one of my favorite paintings for this story. The rainbow trout is very colorful but something is sad. The background river color and the man’s clothes are similar colors. When I created this man’s cut-paper art, I had a strong vision of this image from the beginning.

“星の川 パート４”

切り絵と背景画を作成しました。このページには文章がなく、絵のみです。大分前ですが、翻訳完成前にこの絵を投稿したことがあります。冷たく凍った川の中に落ちてしまったこの男に、どんなことが起こるのでしょうか？パート５にはその内容が書かれています。近々投稿したいと思います。

これは、この物語のなかでも好きな場面のひとつです。綺麗な色をしたニジマスですが、どこか寂しげです。川に落ちていく男の服と、川の色を同じような色合いにしました。このシーンの切り絵と背景は、作成し始めた当初から鮮明にイメージできていました。
