“The River of Stars Part 12
I created this cut paper art, drew the background, and translated the story. This scene is a very bright and nice scene for this story. The old man finally recovered from his sickness and he remembers his name. "Therion" is a constellation's star's name.
Therion, Greek for "wild animal" or "beast" (θηρίον), may refer to Therion, the name the Greeks gave to Lupus (constellation) ("wolf") Therion (band), a Swedish metal band. Therion (genus), a genus of wasps.

In the background of this painting, I drew lake Okotanpe which is in Hokkaido, Japan. Lake Okotanpe is not related to this story but lake Okotanpe is one of my favorite lakes in Hokkaido, Japan. It's a very mysterious, quiet, and beautiful lake. The photo below is from my photo collection. When I took this photo, I decided to draw lake Okotanpe and use it for the background of this scene.

切り絵と背景を作成し、翻訳をしました。このシーンは物語の中では明るくていいシーンです。年老いた男がやっと病気から回復し、自分の名前を思い出します。男の名前である”セリオン”は星座の名前です。
セリオンはギリシャ語で”野生の動物”、または”野獣”という意味で、おそらく語源はセリオン。ギリシャ人がループス（おおかみ座）と名付ける。セリオンはスエーデンのメタルバンドの名前。セリオンはスズメバチ属。

切り絵の背景のモデルは北海道にあるオコタンペ湖です。オコタンペ湖はこの物語には登場しませんが、わたしの好きな湖のひとつです。神秘的でとても静かできれいな湖です。下の写真がオコタンペ湖です。この写真を撮った時、この物語の挿絵に描こうと決めました。
