“Snowshoeing and Snow Shoveling”
We have snow a lot this year. I don't dislike snow shoveling. However, I hope not to have many snow days. We recently have powder snow so, it's easy to shovel it.
Also, I did snowshoeing after snow shoveling. My property has a small forest zone where it's easy to walk with snowshoes. My dog was unsure with his new experience but he enjoyed following me in the deep snow.
I brought backcountry skies from Japan but I haven't seen deep snow much for skiing yet. Snowshoes are very useful tools in Nova Scotia, Canada. I use small effort to walk in the snow with snowshoes. I can put them on and off easily with my normal boots. I don't have expensive ones but they are still good enough to move around in the deep snow on the mountain.
“スノーシューイングと雪かき”
今年は雪が多いです。雪かきは嫌いではないですが、毎日はキツイですね。最近の雪はパウダースノーなので雪かきしやすいです。
雪かきのあと、スノーシューイング（かんじき）をしました。敷地内に小さな森の部分があるのでそこを歩いてみました。新しい体験に犬が少し躊躇していましたが、最終的には深い雪の中を歩くのを楽しんでいました。
日本から来る時に、バックカントリースキーも持ってきたのですが、雪の量がそこまで多くないので出番がまだないです。スノーシューはノバスコシア州では役立つ道具だと思います。少ない労力で簡単に雪の上を歩き回れるのでとても便利です。脱着もそのままのブーツで履くだけなので簡単です。わたしのスノーシューは高価なものではないですが、この辺りの山の中を歩き回るには充分活躍してくれます。
