Este es Huguito mi pequeño mastín napolitano. Me lo regaló mi hijo, cuando apenas tenía dos meses de nacido. Era hijo de su perro llamado Hugo y como padre e hijo eran idénticos, le puso el mismo nombre en diminutivo. Esa noche pasamos un gran susto. A la mañana siguiente, el perro había amanecido aparentemente tranquilo, por lo que me dispuse a sacarlo al jardín con su correa, con la intención de chequear si acataba las órdenes como lo había hecho anteriormente. Al principio todo fue normal, acató todas las órdenes y cuando yo creía que todo estaba bien, el perro comenzó a desobedecer y se me fue encima, tuve que maniobrar con la correa y pedirle auxilio a mi esposo que en ese momento estaba cerca. Él trató de neutralizarlo, pero aquel perro sacó una fuerza descomunal. Entonces mi esposo, viendo que entre los dos no teníamos la fuerza suficiente, se le ocurrió lanzarse encima de él para derribarlo, una vez tumbado, mi esposo se quedó sobre el perro mientras yo le inmovilizaba la cabeza con la correa, al mismo tiempo que uno de mis hijos se sentó en los muslos del perro. Así fue como pudimos someterlo. Permanecimos así por varias horas, ya que nos cansamos de pedir auxilio a ver si algún vecino nos ayudaba, ninguno apareció. Finalmente, pude sedar al perro con unas pastillas que tenía en la casa. Al quedarse dormido, lo amarramos a una de las columnas de la entrada y quedó allí. Posteriormente, me dijeron que había tenido suerte de que se durmiera, porque aunque esas pastillas eran para dormir, pudieron haber hecho el efecto contrario, pues no todas las pastillas de humanos funcionan de igual manera en los perros. A partir de ese momento nosotros quedamos por varios días secuestrados por el perro, sin poder salir de la casa. Hasta que vinieron los bomberos y se llevaron a Huguito. Al día siguiente, los bomberos nos informaron que Huguito había sido recibido en la [Misión Nevado](https://www.instagram.com/misionnevadooficial/?hl=es), que es una entidad del gobierno venezolano que se ocupa de la atención de animales. Allí fuimos a visitarlo, lo vimos y le llevamos toda su documentación sanitaria.
