I've done quite a bit of urban exploration in my time, also known as urbex. It turns out that in exploring these decrepit places, I have stumbled across some absolute masterpieces of spraypaint artwork. Sadly these pieces are now gone with the buildings being demolished or some little wannabe tagger coming along and painting over....
Pawski got tagged
Here I was on a daylight recce with light painting in mind but being the world's worst urban explorer it's a miracle I found this piece by Pawski instead....
Finding Pawski in the dark
I actually shot this in complete darkness using flashlights having accidentally bumped in to another Pawski:
No purchases were made...
This piece by "tankpetrol" is actually painted on a door to an adult superstore and for the record it was closed and no purchases were made...
Coloquix's home brew
I managed to find a way in to this abandoned factory near Sheffield and found more pieces by Coloquix than I was expecting. I have yet to explore an abandoned building where he hasn't already beat me to it! Sadly this factory complex has been demolished and replaced with an executive style housing estate with homes I cannot or ever will afford....

After an unsuccessful morning's trip around various locations encountering locked doors, CCTV cameras and blocked up entrances, I had a plan 'B' in mind shooting graffiti art in Rotherham.
