Our 1st day in Krakow

We, my daughter Eden and I, arrived in Krakow at lunch time. After booking into our aparthotel we walked to the market and wondered through Krakow's enchanting Rynek Główny Market Square.

Walking among the birds

We indulged in the delightful flavors of Churros, the sweet aroma tempting our taste buds. Crisp on the outside, soft within, they were a delightful treat.

The Churros were so tempting
made fresh in front of our eyes

It was great to see the churros cooking in front of us - and even better to eat them fresh with melted white and milk chocolate - delicious indeed..

Happy me

Later the Christmas market adorned the historic square with twinkling lights and festive stalls.

The fragrant Vegetable Soup warmed us from within, a comforting respite from the wintry chill.

Amidst the bustling crowd - it was really crowded on a lively Saturday night, we didn't feel the cold as much as expected - probably due to the warmth of the season.

Krakow, with its cobbled streets and majestic architecture, holds tales from centuries past. The Rynek Główny, dating back to the 13th century, stands as one of Europe's largest medieval town squares. It's witnessed royal celebrations and historic events, preserving its charm through the ages.

Navigating the vibrant stalls, made the evening magical—a cherished memory, shared between a mother and her daughter amidst the rich tapestry of Krakow's history and holiday spirit. Also what made this very special is that Eden's piano teacher came from this very town and we both had many nostalgic moments thinking about Eden's early years and her piano upbringing.

Looking forward to enjoying a concert hearing Chopin played where Chopin was born.
