Pleb dissention

In the past few weeks I've seen several people talking about doing some "spring cleaning" in their Hive Engine (HE) inventory of shitcoi... I mean very valuable and promising token projects. So I want to go into a bit more detail why I think it's not the best idea to sell them when Hive's price is not scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Before I move on to the meat of the problem I would like to say that I am a firm believer that Hive is more valuable than any other HE token and the key to whole ecosystem so that's why I think it's vital to gather as much Hive as possible in the upcoming years. Like a preparation of sorts, in order for the next bull run to find plebs like me holding some big freaking bags both in quantity and in dollar value.

Currently though, having Hive at a decent price point it's a good "problem" to have from the perspective of most Hive plebs, but it's still a problem if you want to sell them for Hive.

Firstly because many are also seeking to move value from HE tokens to Hive because everybody wants to play with the coins that are going places instead of stagnating. Also it's much easier to take profits from Hive due to bigger liquidity as opposed to trying to sell HE tokens quickly without tanking the price. Of course this is true to various degrees but Hive is generally easier to do stuff with. So when most are selling and few are buying it's obvious that the prices for HE tokens will be kind of crap. And even if you got them for little effort it's still a pity to sell them for almost nothing.

During the bear market when most coins, including Hive, will be worth much less in dollar value people will be more willing to part with their precious Hive in exchange for some vague promises and hype... I mean HE tokens.

This brings us to the second point, more demand generates bigger prices so you could sell the same coins for more Hive even though the dollar value might be even less than in the bull market but that's not the point. My strategy is based on accumulating as much Hive as effectively as possible and then taking profits in the bull run which in turn can be reinvested into Hive or bitcoin for example when their prices drop back down. Rinse and repeat.

So these are the main reasons I'm currently accumulating every HE token I can get my hands on, no matter how dead or abandoned their corresponding project might look. If some of them will get some hype during the bear market I will turn them into a lot more Hive than I can currently. Not all will be worth hodling them but some will surely be.

For example I was fortunate enough to sell some POB when the hype was going crazy and I am very happy to have done so because that meant quite a bit of Hive in the coffers before the bull market really kicked into overdrive in November.

It remains to be seen if I'm playing 5D chess or if I'm just a retarded clown rambling aimlessly about things I don't fully understand. Honestly, I would be happy with something in the middle :P
