Hola chicas (os), ¿cómo están?... El día de hoy les traigo mi participación en el concurso propuesto por @ambarvegas y @lucianav, quienes hace 5 meses crearon una iniciativa llena de color, brillo y pestañas postizas, el #MakeupChallenge.

Hello girls, how are you? Today I bring you my participation in the contest proposed by @ambarvegas and @lucianav, who 5 months ago created an initiative full of color, brightness and false eyelashes, the #MakeupChallenge.

1.- ¿Cuándo te uniste al reto?
Me uní al #MakeupChallenge en su primera semana a finales de julio, gracias a la invitación de @lucianav. En esa oportunidad quedé gratamente sorprendida de que me invitaran a participar, sobretodo porque no tenía mucho tiempo en Hive y fue la primera invitación que recibí para un reto de maquillaje, así que también estaba muy nervioso.
1.- When did you join the challenge?
I joined #MakeupChallenge in its first week at the end of July, thanks to the invitation of @lucianav. In that opportunity I was pleasantly surprised to be invited to participate, especially because I didn't have much time in Hive and it was the first invitation I received for a makeup challenge, so I was also very nervous.
2.- ¿Cuál ha sido el tema que más te ha gustado?
Esta pregunta si que está difícil, jajajaja, unos me han costado más que otros, pero todos me han gustado, ahora, sí de escoger uno se trata, me iría por la semana 10: Paisajes. Quede muy contenta con el resultado final a pesar de que fue la primera vez que hacia ese tipo de maquillaje.
2.- What was the topic you liked the most?
This question is difficult, some have cost me more than others, but I liked all of them, now, if I had to choose one, I would go for week 10: Landscapes. I was very happy with the final result even though it was the first time I did that kind of makeup.
3.- Nombra a alguien cuyo trabajo te haya gustado y cuéntanos porqué.
En #MakeupPower hay mucho talento, no solo del lado de las mujeres, sino también del lado de los hombres, pero un trabajo que me encanta desde que lo vi por primera vez es el de @josehany, me parece que tiene un talento increíble y sus maquillajes son excepcionales.
3.- Name someone whose work you liked and tell us why.
In #MakeupPower there is a lot of talent, not only on the women's side, but also on the men's side, but a job that I love since I first saw it is @josehany, I think he has an incredible talent and his make-up is exceptional.
4.- ¿Ha mejorado tu forma de maquillarte gracias al reto?
Total, el Makeup Challenge ha sido sin duda la mejor clase de maquillaje que he tenido, jajaja, no solo porque me ha permitido practicar constantemente, sino que me ha dado la posibilidad de conocer a personas que al igual que a mi les gusta el maquillaje y he podido aprender de cada una de ellas, desde tips para el cuidado de la piel hasta la aplicación de pestañas postizas.
También me ha sacado de mi zona de confort en más de una vez, además me ha dado el impulso para seguir probando cosas nuevas y superarme en cada uno de los looks que creo no solo para el reto sino para toda Hive.
4.- Has your make-up improved thanks to the challenge?
Overall, the Makeup Challenge has been undoubtedly the best kind of makeup I've had, haha, not only because it has allowed me to practice constantly, but has given me the opportunity to meet people who like makeup and I could learn from each of them, from tips for skin care to the application of false eyelashes.
It has also taken me out of my comfort zone on more than one occasion, plus it has given me the impetus to keep trying new things and surpassing myself in each of the looks that I create not only for the challenge but for all of Hive.

5.- ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de participar en el #MakeupChallenge?
Definitivamente los temas, cada tema es único y te obligan a salir de tu zona de confort, como diría mi mamá o brincas o te encaramas, y eso es algo que me gusta mucho. En lo personal porque tiendo a quedarme siempre en lo seguro. El MakeupChallenge me ha permitido darme cuenta que si quiero y pongo empeño puedo hacer cualquier maquillaje.
5.- What do you like the most about participating in #MakeupChallenge?
Definitely the themes, each theme is unique and they force you to go outside your comfort zone, as my mom would say, either you jump or you climb, and that's something I like a lot. Personally because I tend to stay safe all the time. The MakeupChallenge has allowed me to realize that if I want to and I put effort I can do any makeup.
6.- ¿Qué le cambiarías a este Reto?
Nada, considero que el reto en si es muy dinámico, la única “limitación” que tendría seria el tema semanal y sin embargo cada maquillaje que se presenta tiene un toque único por parte de las personas que los crean. En realidad, no le cambiaría nada.
6 .- What would you change to this Challenge?
Nothing, I think the challenge itself is very dynamic, the only "limitation" that would be the weekly theme and yet each makeup that is presented has a unique touch by the people who create them. In fact, it would not change anything.

Este fue mi primer maquillaje para la semana 1 del #MakeupChallenge: Hive y Abejas, y es el que vamos a recrear el día de hoy.
This was my first makeup for week 1 of #MakeupChallenge: Hive and Bees, and it's the one we're going to recreate today.
Lo primero que hice fue realizar mis cejas, con una sombra y una brocha de corte diagonal, con los cuales les di forma y con la ayuda de un corrector claro y una brocha plana limpié los bordes.
Luego preparé mis párpados para las sombras con la ayuda de un corrector igualmente claro, que difuminé con la ayuda de una beauty blender.
A diferencia de la primera vez, usé una sombra más clara para que mis cejas no se vieran tan marcas y no sellé mis párpados con polvo compacto
The first thing I did was to make my eyebrows, with a shadow and a diagonal brush, with which I shaped them and with the help of a clear concealer and a flat brush I cleaned the edges.
Then I prepared my eyelids for the shadows with the help of an equally clear concealer, which I blurred with the help of a beauty blender.
Unlike the first time, I used a lighter shade so that my eyebrows wouldn't look so marked and I didn't seal my eyelids with pressed powder
Para las sombras realicé un degradé de colores desde el amarillo hasta el negro con un corte recto al final.
En esta oportunidad realicé un degradé utilizando amarillo, dos tonos de marrones uno más claro, otro más oscuro y por último un tono negro. La primera vez me ayude con una cinta adhesiva para realizar el corte, esta vez apliqué las sombras y luego realicé el corte con la ayuda de un desmaquillante
For the shadows I made a color gradient from yellow to black with a straight cut at the end.
This time I made a gradient using yellow, two shades of brown, one lighter, one darker and finally a black tone. The first time I helped me with a tape to make the cut, this time I applied the shadows and then made the cut with the help of a makeup remover
Para continuar con el maquillaje apliqué primer, base, corrector, contorno y rubor.
Trate de que la piel se viera más natural, no tan cargada de maquillaje
To continue with the makeup I applied primer, foundation, concealer, contour and blush.
Try to make the skin look more natural, not so heavy with makeup
Igual que en el maquillaje anterior, utilicé las mismas sombras en los párpados inferiores, un lápiz negro en la línea del agua inferior y rimel.
As in the previous makeup, I used the same shadows on the lower eyelids, a black pencil on the lower water line and mascara.
Inspirándome de igual forma en el logo de Hive, recreé un panal de abejas en la parte derecha de mi rostro, finalizando con el logo. En la parte izquierda de mi rostro, realicé un camino de líneas, terminando con una abejita.
Inspired by the Hive logo, I recreated a beehive on the right side of my face, ending with the logo. On the left side of my face, I made a path of lines, ending with a little bee.
Por último, apliqué un labial marrón e iluminador
Finally, I applied a brown lipstick and highlighter
Aquí les dejó el look completo. La verdad me encantó el maquillaje, inclusó más que la primera vez que lo hice, jajaja.
Here he left them the complete look. I really loved the makeup, even more than the first time I did it, hahaha.
