Hello again today I bring you another makeup inspired by the character Erika from the Barbie movie.😊💄

Creo que todos alguna vez hemos visto las películas de Barbie ya sea por cuenta propia o por otros. Desde pequeña las solía ver con mi hermana en la tv o en DVD siempre me emocionaba saber de alguna nueva. Entre mis favoritas siempre están Barbie y el Cascanueces, Barbie Las Doce Bailarinas y Barbie la princesa y la plebeya. De esta última me inspire para realizar este nuevo maquillaje basado en el personaje de Erika, una chica que trabaja muy duro para poder saldar la deuda que la mantiene encerrada en la tienda de costura hasta que conoce a Anneliese una muchacha idéntica a ella, juntas pueden enfrentarse a las adversidades que le interponen a ser verdaderamente felices.

I think we all have seen Barbie movies at one time or another, either on our own or by others. Since I was a little girl I used to watch them with my sister on TV or DVD and I was always excited to know about a new one. Among my favorites are always Barbie and the Nutcracker, Barbie the Twelve Dancers and Barbie the Princess and the Commoner. From this last one I was inspired to make this new makeup based on the character of Erika, a girl who works very hard to pay off the debt that keeps her locked in the sewing store until she meets Anneliese a girl identical to her, together they can face the adversities that stand in the way of being truly happy. 

Bueno sin más que decir sobre esta película tan hermosa 💗 comienzo explicando cómo realice mi makeup pero antes estos son los productos que utilice:

Well without more to say about this beautiful movie💗 I start explaining how I did my makeup but first these are the products I used:

Primeramente como casi siempre comienzo por hacer la cejas con un pincel o brocha fina; me encargo de rellenar las zonas claras de mi cejas para emparejarlas con el resto seguido de peinarlas con el cepillo del rímel (uno que no tengan producto) y una vez que esté conforme paso a usar la base, esta vez en todo el rosto corrigiendo partes de mis cejas para hacerlas ver más delgadas y definidas. Cuando termino de usar la base, me aplico el polvo compacto para sellar.

First, as I almost always do, I start by doing the eyebrows with a fine brush; I fill in the light areas of my eyebrows to even them out with the rest followed by combing them with the mascara brush (one that doesn't have product) and once I'm satisfied I start using the foundation, this time all over the face correcting parts of my eyebrows to make them look thinner and more defined. When I'm done using the foundation, I apply the compact powder to seal.

Seguido de esto pase a tomar un poco de sombra marrón que utilice para echarme un poco en la zona del tabique de la nariz para definirla ya que si es un maquillaje de Barbie debe ser lo más delicado posible. Difumine lo más que pude para que no se viera exagerado y continúe aplicando un poco de rubor para darle color a mis mejillas, un tono algo oscuro pero sutil que va con el personaje.

After this I took some brown shadow which I used to throw a little on the septum area of my nose to define it because if it's a Barbie makeup it should be as delicate as possible. I blurred as much as I could so it wouldn't look overdone and continued applying some blush to give color to my cheeks, a somewhat dark but subtle tone that goes with the character.

Otro de los pasos a seguir son las sombras que en este caso use un rosa muy claro para que parezca un maquillaje casi “natural”, pero luego use un poco de marrón alrededor de mi cuenca para resaltar un poco esa zona y quedara algo así:

Another step to follow are the shadows that in this case I used a very light pink to make it look like an almost "natural" makeup, but then I used a little bit of brown around my eye socket to highlight a little bit that area and it looked something like this: 

Para el delineado use primero el rotulador y marque muy cerca de mis pestañas, como este maquillaje tiene que verse como si fuera natural, mi delineado es más sencillo y pequeño. Mientras que con el delineador líquido vuelvo a marcar para que se vea más intenso. También decidí utilizar al final pestañas postizas para que fueran como ojos de muñeca y resaltara más mirada pero esto es opcional ya que con un buen rímel las pestañas pueden quedar igual de hermosas.

 For the eyeliner I used the marker first and marked very close to my eyelashes, as this makeup has to look as if it was natural, my eyeliner is simpler and smaller. While with the liquid eyeliner I mark again to make it look more intense. I also decided to use false eyelashes at the end to make them look like doll eyes and highlight the look more but this is optional because with a good mascara the eyelashes can be just as beautiful.

Por último aplique los labiales; uno mate, otro un brillo rosa que me encanta usar. Retoque las pestañas con rímel y listo con un vestidos similar acompañado de un collar azul que encajan para recrear al personaje de Erika.

Lastly I applied the lipsticks; one matte, the other a pink gloss that I love to wear. Touch up the eyelashes with mascara and ready with a similar dress with a blue necklace that fit to recreate the character of Erika.
