We are back with the make-up initiatives, I am very excited because it is the first time I will do this so I chose an interesting theme not seen before in the community and it is Gothic style make-up.
HISTORY
Gothic was a term used during the 16th century specifically to refer and describe medieval architecture and some time after that to make a reference to novels with a mysterious and dark aura, it was these novels who used the term gothic for the first time which begins to give this theme the atmosphere we know today as for example, Mary Shelley with Frankenstein, Bram Stoker with Dracula and the one that can never go unnoticed, Edgar Allan Poe.
The term "GOthic" would soon be chosen by a culture of young people who had their own way of seeing life and dressing.
In the 1980's in the United Kingdom appeared the Gothic Rock, a musical genre reminiscent of Gothic literature and thus began what for many young people at that time, made a difference.
Regresamos con las iniciativas de maquillaje, estoy muy emocionada porque es la primera vez que har茅 esto por lo tanto eleg铆 una tem谩tica interesante y antes no vista en la comunidad y es maquillaje estilo G贸tico.
HISTORIA
El G贸tico fu茅 un t茅rmino bastante usado durante el siglo XVI espec铆ficamente para referirse y describir a la arquitectura medieval y tiempo despu茅s de ello para hacer una referencia a las novelas con el aura misteriosa y oscura, fueron 茅stas novelas quienes usaron el t茅rmino g贸tico por primera vez lo que comienza a darle a este tema el ambiente que conocemos hoy d铆a como por ejemplo, Mary Shelley con Frankenstein, Bram stoker con Dr谩cula y el que jam谩s puede pasar desapercibido, Edgar Allan Poe.
El t茅rmino "G脫TICO" ser铆a el elegido pr贸ximamente por una cultura de j贸venes quienes ten铆an su manera de ver la vida y vestirse.
En la d茅cada del 1980 en el Reino Unido aparece el Rock G贸tico, un g茅nero musical que recordaba a la literatura g贸tica y as铆 inici贸 lo que para muchos j贸venes en aquellas 茅pocas, marc贸 una diferencia.
STYLE
This style, is based on dark clothing and makeup with lace, velvet or leather clothes, when an iconic gothic singer named Suzy Sue was one of the first to contribute to the 80's Goth Rock fashion with voluminous hair, military style boots, leather jackets and mesh stockings as well as sharp dark makeup, highlighted by black, red, blue and other shades of shadow, black eyeliner and repeatedly used lighter shades of powder on their faces at the time.
ESTILO
Este estilo, est谩 basado en la ropa y maquillaje oscuros con ropas de encaje, terciopelo o cuero, cuando una cantante g贸tica ic贸nica llamada Suzy Sue fue una de las primeras en contribuir a la moda del Rock Gotico de los 80麓s con un voluminoso cabello, botas estilo militar, chaquetas de cuero y medias de malla asi como tambien un maquillaje oscuro afilado, remarcado por sobre todo por las tonalidades de sombra negra, roja, azul, entre otros colores, delineador negro y en repetidas ocasiones sol铆an usar polvos de tonos m谩s claros en sus rostros para aquella 茅poca.

You can choose fictional characters (Cartoon, Movie or series) and tell us why you chose such character.
