Poco a poco añadí algunos matices y sombras.

English version.

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great week.💗😄

I for one am very excited, as this is my first post in this community. I've wanted to share my body art with you for a long time, but for some reason I was shy to carry out the idea....

I really like body art, it fuses two of my favorite things: painting and the body; the body can be an interesting canvas to work on; I've seen countless works by body artists and the things they can achieve are amazing, some artists even manage to camouflage the body on a stage just by imitating the scene on it.

Today I share with you a small portrait of a giraffe that I made on my left forearm.

Why a giraffe? I don't know, I was originally thinking of making flowers but looking for some reference images I came across the one of a little giraffe which I thought was most adorable so I went ahead and made it.

Process:

With a black makeup pencil I traced the sketch of my giraffe's head. Before painting the body, I saw it necessary to paint the background first, for this I chose a sky blue tone.

I added the base tones for the animal's fur, and also added the fur on the crest. I dreaded having to do two coats of paint, but fortunately my paints covered every space of my fur well.

Little by little I added some shades and shadows. At this point I was a bit silly for having painted the skin upside down, that is, I should have painted with a light tone the body and on this one paint the spots...

Anyway, it didn't turn out so bad... As you will see, I also added some details of the face like the nose and the eye.

I added some more shadows on the giraffe's body and, with a fine brush and the dark brown and black tones I traced some stray hairs on the crest.

This was the result, what do you think? I liked it very much, I think it was very tender.

It was not an easy task, it was a bit uncomfortable to have only one hand to open my paints and wash the brushes while the other arm was trying to keep it still... quite a challenge. But it turned out very well in the end.

The time it took me to do this painting was about an hour and a half, maybe less. I used cold paints along with some acrylics.

Any questions or tips please leave them in the comments, see you later!
