Hola Hivers 💕 hoy presento un poco tarde mi entrada al concurso propuesto por la comunidad de #makeuppower por cuestiones personales, sin embargo estoy muy entusiasmada de participar así que ¡Comencemos!

Hi Hivers 💕 today I'm a little late to submit my entry to the contest proposed by the #makeuppower community because of personal issues, however I'm very excited to participate so let's get started!

1.- ¿Cuando te uniste al reto?

Me uní a éstos retos semanales con la temática golosinas o snacks favoritos, apenas tenía dos semanas en la plataforma y no sabía muy bien que hacer, recuerdo que mi tema fueron los Doritos y realicé un "Doritos look" me sentía muy abrumada, porque al ver que era tanto el talento que había por acá pensé que no tendría ninguna de oportunidad de resaltar en ésta comunidad, sin embargo, luego de unas semanas obtuve comentarios muy lindos que me impulsaron a seguir participando; también conocí a personas grandiosas y gracias a ello hoy día no tengo nada de miedo en atreverme a participar en cada desafío, aún cuando están muy fuera de mi zona de confort, me he atrevido a participar en todo lo que puedo y a muchos les ha gustado mi trabajo aunque sea algo cero profesional, pero para mí eso lo es todo.💕

1.- When did you join the challenge?

I joined this weekly challenge with the theme of my favorite candies or snacks, I barely had two weeks on the platform and did not know what to do, I remember that my theme was the Doritos and I made a "Doritos look " I felt very overwhelmed, because seeing that there was so much talent around here I thought I would not have any opportunity to stand out in this community, however, after a few weeks I got very nice comments that encouraged me to continue participating; I also met great people and thanks to that I am not afraid to participate in every challenge, even when they are very far from my comfort zone, I have dared to participate in everything I can and many have liked my work even if it is something zero professional, but for me that is everything. 💕

2.- ¿Cuál ha sido el tema que más te ha gustado?

Mi tema favorito en el #makeupchallenge ha sido el Makeup social glam 😍 creo que esa fue de las semanas más activas en la comunidad, habían looks preciosos y cada chica mostró un enfoque distinto, pero que se apreciaban tan naturales que parecían salidas de una portada de revista. Siendo honesta fue un tema que gustó mucho, y personalmente el maquillaje que yo realicé me encantó, a parte fue el look donde más comentarios tuve así qué dicho tema fue mi favorito.

2.- What has been the topic that you liked the most?

My favorite theme in the #makeupchallenge has been the social glam Makeup 😍 I think that was one of the most active weeks in the community, there were beautiful looks and each girl showed a different approach, but they were so natural that they seemed to come from a magazine cover. To be honest it was a theme that I liked a lot, and personally the makeup I did I loved it, besides it was the look where I had more comments so that theme was my favorite.

3.- Nombra a alguien cuyo trabajo te haya gustado y cuéntanos porqué.

Como dije anteriormente ésta comunidad está cargada de mucho talento, así que elegir a una sola persona es algo tedioso sin embargo, al leer ésta pregunta pensé inmediatamente en una persona, y ella es @sofiaquino98 quizá a ella le sorprenda que la nombre pero, ésta chica le entra a lo que sea y eso es admirable 💕 creo que desde que inicié no la he visto saltarse ningún reto, sus creaciones son fantásticas ella simplemente piensa en algo y lo hace, lo mejor de todo es que le queda maravilloso siempre🤩 hasta las cosas más simples las ejecuta muy bien, y en consecuencia sus resultado son satisfactorios. Además de todo lo anterior es una chica muy amable y sociable, así que puedo decir que estoy encantada con su trabajo y con lo que ella es también, así que por eso @sofiaquino98 es mi respuesta a ésta pregunta.

3.- Name someone whose work you liked and tell us why.

As I said before this community is loaded with a lot of talent, so choosing just one person is a bit tedious however, when I read this question I immediately thought of one person, and she is @sofiaquino98 maybe she will be surprised if I name her but, this girl can do anything and that is admirable 💕 I think that since I started I haven't seen her skip any challenge, her creations are fantastic she just thinks of something and does it, the best of all is that she looks wonderful siempre🤩 even the simplest things she executes very well, and consequently her results are satisfactory. Besides all the above, she is a very nice and sociable girl, so I can say that I am delighted with her work and with what she is too, so that's why @sofiaquino98 is my answer to this question.

4.- ¿Ha mejorado tu forma de maquillarte gracias al reto?

Se puede evidenciar desde mis publicaciones anteriores hasta las actuales que he tenido cambios significativos en mis técnicas, el reto me ha impulsado a documentarme más, aprender ciertas técnicas y tener nuevos enfoques a la hora de maquillarme, gracias al reto me he presionado para mejorar cada día y entregar creaciones mas profesionales y aunque aún no estoy tan diestra como quisiera seguiré perfeccionandome.

4.- Has your way of making up improved thanks to the challenge?

It can be seen from my previous publications to the current ones that I have had significant changes in my techniques, the challenge has driven me to document myself more, learn certain techniques and have new approaches when it comes to makeup, thanks to the challenge I have pushed myself to improve every day and deliver more professional creations and although I'm still not as skilled as I would like to continue improving myself.

5.- ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de participar en el #MakeupChallenge?

Lo que más disfruto de participar en éstos retos realmente es la forma en cómo logro despejar mi mente, además me divierto mucho maquillandome pero, lo que más me gusta es que cada semana me reto a mí misma a obtener un buen resultado, teniendo en cuenta que soy una persona que no sabe dibujar para nada lo cual ha supuesto mucho desánimo en mi persona a la hora de la práctica con el maquillaje, un me impulsa a atreverme a dibujar ser creativa y demostrarme a mí misma que si soy capaz de hacer cosas buenas.

5.- What do you like best about participating in #MakeupChallenge?

What I enjoy most about participating in these challenges is the way I manage to clear my mind, I also have a lot of fun doing my make-up, but what I like most is that every week I challenge myself to get a good result, taking into account that I am a person who does not know how to draw at all, which has meant a lot of discouragement in my person when it comes to practice with make-up. Having a new challenge every week encourages me to dare to draw creatively and to prove to myself that I am capable of doing good things.

6.- ¿Qué le cambiarias a este Reto?

A éste reto no le cambiaría nada me parece que es perfecto así tal cual, lo que me parecería genial es interacción de las moderadoras en las publicaciones de las participantes, eso resultaría muy alentador. 🤞🏾🌠

6.- What would you change about this Challenge?

I would not change anything about this challenge, I think it is perfect as it is, what I would find great is the interaction of the moderators in the publications of the participants, that would be very encouraging. 🤞🏾🌠

¡Recrea tu primer Maquillaje en el #MakeupChallenge !

Al recrear éste look tuve que irme a la publicación original, pueden verla aquí y siendo honesta me encontraba tan corta de tiempo que no pude fotografiar el paso a paso, solo seguí cada paso del primer Maquillaje al pie de la letra y hice alguno cambios, por ejemplo, sustituí el labial rosa por un labial rojo matte, también apliqué la sombra únicamente dentro del dibujo del fuego y fui mucho más cuidadosa con los detalles de la piel, acá les presento el antes y después:

Recreate your first Makeup in the #MakeupChallenge !

When recreating this look I had to go to the original publication, you can see it here and being honest I was so short of time that I could not photograph the step by step, I just followed each step of the first Makeup to the letter and made some changes, for example, I replaced the pink lipstick by a matte red lipstick, I also applied the shadow only within the drawing of the fire and was much more careful with the details of the skin, here I present the before and after:

En mi opinión es muy grande la diferencia e incluso me da algo de vergüenza mi primer Maquillaje jajaja tiene muchos detalles técnicos que se ven espantosos, pero estoy feliz de haberlos corregido con la práctica.

In my opinion the difference is very big and I'm even a little embarrassed my first makeup hahaha has many technical details that look awful, but I'm happy to have corrected them with practice.

Estoy feliz de alcanzar a participar en éste grandioso concurso propuesto por la comunidad de #makeuppower , comunidad que se ha convertido en mi hogar y espacio creativo, es impresionante el talento que se promueve acá día a día y sé que seguiremos creciendo tanto en integrantes como en talento.

I'm happy to be able to participate in this great contest proposed by the #makeuppower community, a community that has become my home and creative space. The talent that is promoted here every day is impressive and I know that we will continue to grow both in members and in talent.
