Using Baking Process to Achieve a Great Makeup

What is Baking Process in makeup?

IMG_7885.jpeg

Baking Process is a longer makeup technique where you use a concealer (liquid), and loads of powder (setting powder, or translucent loose setting powder) to cover the key spot areas of your face, and wait for 10 to 15 minutes, then dust off the excesses.
Makeup can be achieved through different processes, and using the baking process to achieve a great makeup look has been my favorite makeup technique.

How Did I Get This Done

Firstly, carve your eye brows to your desired shape.
Using a face wipe, clean your face with a liquid face cleanser.
Moisturize your face using a face moisturizer to help keep the face hydrated.
Go on with a face primer to prime the face.

Apply your face foundation using your desired shade. Applying the foundation can be sectioned thereby starting from your cheek to the other side of your face, or from the forehead down to the other side of the face, and blend the foundation using a beauty-blender. Blend the fountain well into the skin to achieve a smooth look.

Using a liquid concealer, apply it on to the sensitive areas, or the key spot areas which are; down the bridge of your nose, above your cheekbones, on the center of your forehead, and in the middle of your chin. Having applied the concealer to these areas, you blend also using a beauty blender.

Using a setting powder, or translucent loose setting powder, set those key spot areas by pressing in the setting powder to cover the key spot areas, and leave it for about 10-15minutes. I used MAC set powder.
Apply your contour on the side of your nose.
N/B Leaving the face to set for 10-15minutes is called ****BAKING PROCESS. This baking process is mainly done mostly by makeup professionals which helps to make their skin work easy and smooth.

While the face is been baked, you can draw your eye brows, and conceal the brows lining, apply your eye shadow and your mascara, and fix your eye lashes.
Haven done all these, you go in to dust off the excesses of the setting powder on those key spot areas using a brush.

Apply your blush on your cheeks.
Apply your bronzer, on those key spot areas which leaves those areas glittering and highlighted.

Doing your lips, first line the edge of your lips with a lip liner of any color and go in with any color of a lip stick (I used an ox-blood lip liner, and a nude lip stick, toped it up with a lip gloss).

Spray up your face with a face finishing spray, which helps to hold and keep your makeup for a longer period.

Having gone through this baking process, here is our final look.
