I am here today to share with you how my tattoo turned out after a makeup session. I hope you like it!
Soy fan de los tattoos, hace tiempo perdí la cuenta de los que llevo en mi cuerpo y en su mayoría me los he hecho yo mismo con una técnica llamada "handpoked". Esta técnica consiste en utilizar solamente una aguja (especial para tatuajes), tinta y, claro, elemento de sanidad para evitar cualquier tipo de infección o problemas en la piel.
I am a fan of tattoos, some time ago I lost count of the ones that I wear on my body and most of them I have done myself with a technique called "handpoked". This technique consists of using only a needle (special for tattoos), ink and, of course, a sanitizer to avoid any type of infection or skin problems.
La mayor diferencia con el tatuaje tradicional, es que con éste método no se utiliza maquina, por consecuencia, evita el consumo de electricidad.
Se le agrega un complemento a la aguja para que su manipulación sea más cómoda y con ella se irá remarcando el dibujo, previamente plasmado en la piel, introduciendo la tinta punto por punto hasta que las líneas se vean lo mas uniformes posible.
También se puede agregar un sombreado realizando la técnica del puntillismo.
The biggest difference with the traditional tattoo is that with this method no machine is used, consequently, it avoids the consumption of electricity. A complement is added to the needle so that its manipulation is more comfortable and with it the drawing, previously captured on the skin, will be highlighted, introducing the ink point by point until the lines look as uniform as possible. Shading can also be added using the pointillism technique.
Todos mis tatuajes son negros o sombreados. Me encantan y los amo, pero siempre tuve curiosidad por cómo me quedaría un tattoo full color.
Bueno, en la madrugada no pude dormir y estaba muy aburrido, por lo que se me ocurrió maquillar uno de ellos con muchos colores para ver cómo me quedaría si algún día me realizara uno de este estilo.
All my tattoos are black or shaded. I love them and I love them, but I was always curious how a full color tattoo would look on me. Well, at dawn I couldn't sleep and I was very bored, so it occurred to me to make up one of them with many colors to see how it would look if one day I had one of this style done.
Decidí colorear una rosa que llevo en mi pierna izquierda, es bastante grande y me dió bastante libertad para jugar con mis pigmentos de maquillaje acuarelable.
Así que preparé todos mis elementos y comencé con este experimento.
I decided to color a rose that I wear on my left leg, it is quite large and gave me a lot of freedom to play with my watercolor makeup pigments. So I prepared all my elements and started this experiment.
Escogí muchos colores que son los que escogería si realmente me tatuara un diseño full color. Llamativos y vibrantes como el rosado, verde y celeste entre otros.
Comencé desde el centro de la rosa utilizando pigmentos rosados y anaranjados y luego fui combinando otros colores prestando atención al orden de los pétalos yendo hacia los exteriores del tattoo para que el cambio de pigmento no sea brusco a la vista.
I chose many colors that are the ones I would choose if I really tattooed a full color design. Striking and vibrant such as pink, green and light blue among others.I started from the center of the rose using pink and orange pigments and then I was combining other colors paying attention to the order of the petals going towards the exterior of the tattoo so that the change of pigment is not abrupt in sight.
A medida que iba concluyendo el maquillaje, me gustaba pero sentía que algo le faltaba.
Me gustó la combinación de colores que utilicé pero no se veía para nada real.
Hasta que noté que las líneas originales de mi tatuaje quedaron casi tapadas por los pigmentos, por lo que parecía sólo una mancha con lindos colores. Por ello decidí remarcar todas sus contornos con pigmento negro y uff, el resultado me encantó!
As I finished the makeup, I liked it but felt that something was missing. I liked the color scheme I used but it didn't look real at all. Until I noticed that the original lines of my tattoo were almost covered by pigments, so it looked like just a smudge with beautiful colors. That is why I decided to highlight all its contours with black pigment and uff, I loved the result!
