Ayer fue un día bastante tranquilo en casa, estabamos todos aburridos. Mi sobrino mas grande vino a preguntarme si tenía ganas de maquillarlo, aunque ya sabia mi respuesta.
Mi sobrino mas grande cuenta con mucha paciencia al igual que yo, por eso siempre aprovecho para realizar trabajos que me llevan mas tiempo y dedicación. Éste es uno de ellos.
Yesterday was a pretty quiet day at home, we were all bored. My oldest nephew came to ask me if I wanted to do his makeup, although he already knew my answer.My oldest nephew has a lot of patience like me, that's why I always take the opportunity to do jobs that take me more time and dedication. This is one of them.
Ésta vez fue diferente, porque el niño me pidió que le explique cada paso que hacia a medida que el maquillaje avanzaba, y nunca lo había hecho, por lo que fué bastante interesante.
Con la ayuda de una esponja texturizada, comencé este maquillaje pigmentando y esfuminando con blanco, la parte superior de su rostro, partiendo de las mejillas.
This time it was different, because the boy asked me to explain each step he took as the makeup progressed, and I never had, so it was quite interesting.With the help of a textured sponge, I began this makeup by pigmenting and blending with white, the upper part of her face, starting from the cheeks.
Luego cogí un pincel fino y con pintura negra un poco aguada, comencé a dibujar toda la calavera sobre su rostro, para luego maquillar sobre ella.
Lo primero en pigmentar son los ojos, que los rellené con un negro mas solido, utilizando un pincel mas grueso.
Then I took a fine brush and with a little watery black paint, I began to draw the entire skull on his face, and then put makeup on it.The first thing to pigment are the eyes, which I filled with a more solid black, using a thicker brush.
Cogí un pincel de volumen, algo desgastado, y con el comencé a aplicar color marron en los contornos y rincones de la calavera, esfuminando los extremos.
Luego apliqué color ivory en los espacios más amplios y esfuminé muy bien los extremos junto con el marrón aplicado previamente. Esto lo hice para reforzar la luz del maquillaje.
I took a volume brush, somewhat worn, and with it I began to apply brown color in the contours and corners of the skull, blending the ends.Then I applied ivory color in the widest spaces and bleached the ends very well together with the previously applied brown. I did this to reinforce the makeup light.
Seguí reforzando los relieves de las cuencas de los ojos y las grietas de la calavera, con negro y esfuminando sombras para crear la ilusión de profundidad.
Luego dibujé la mandíbula con un pincel "lengua de gato", utilizando color ivory, y rellené con negeo todo el resto del rostro para resaltar la calavera.
Para finalizar, remarqué con un pincel fino y pintura negra, las grietas en los huesos. Y éste fue el resultado final.
I continued to reinforce the reliefs in the eye sockets and the skull crevices, with black and blending shadows to create the illusion of depth.Then I drew the jaw with a "cat's tongue" brush, using ivory, and filled the rest of the face with black to highlight the skull.
To finish, I highlighted with a fine brush and black paint, the cracks in the bones. And this was the end result
