No puedo explicarles lo que me gusta esta época del años. Lamentablemente he estado bastante ocupado como para sacarle todo el provecho que quería, pero ahora estoy con visitas en casa y me di el tiempo para hacerle un buen maquillaje a mi amigo.
Le pregunté a mi amigo Joel qué le gustaría que le maquillé y casi sin dudarlo me pidió a este icónico villano de la gran saga de Star wars.
I can't explain to you what I like this time of year. Unfortunately I have been busy enough to get the most out of it, but now I am visiting home and I took the time to do a good makeup on my friend.I asked my friend Joel what he would like me to do for him and almost without hesitation he asked me this iconic villain from the great Star Wars saga.
Bien, comencé este maquillaje cubriendo por completo su rostro. Para esto utilicé maquillaje acuarelable rojo y esparcí por todo su rostro con la ayuda de una esponjita de látex.
Luego cogí mi paleta de sombras y con una brocha gorda comencé a reforzar las sombras de la cara y sus rasgos con sombra de color bordó y con otra negra.
Well, I started this makeup by completely covering her face. For this I used red watercolor makeup and spread it all over her face with the help of a latex sponge.Then I took my eyeshadow palette and with a broad brush I began to reinforce the shadows of the face and her features with burgundy and another black shadow.
Luego de ésto, cogí un pincel liner para trazar una delgada línea vertical para separar su rostro en dos mitades y así tener mejor control con la simetría de los espacios negros que tiene este diseño.
After this, I took a liner brush to draw a thin vertical line to separate his face in two halves and thus have better control with the symmetry of the black spaces that this design has.
Quise dibujar primero todos los contornos de estos espacios negros para calcular mejor esa simetría y así luego rellenarlos y ya, pero a este punto ya me aburrí y decidí hacerlo a mano alzada teniendo bastante cuidado.
I wanted to first draw all the contours of these black spaces to better calculate that symmetry and then fill them in and that's it, but at this point I got bored and decided to do it freehand, being quite careful.
Comencé con el lado izquierdo de su rostro (desde mi perspectiva) que es donde se me hace un poquito más difícil maquillar y una vez terminado, continué con su lado derecho tratando de copiar las medidas y distancias de las manchas que ya pinté. Y este fue el resultado final.
I started with the left side of his face (from my perspective) which is where it is a little more difficult for me to make up and once finished, I continued with his right side trying to copy the measurements and distances of the spots that I already painted. And this was the end result.
