Espero se encuentren muy bien, después de varios días sin poder publicar mis maquillajes, hoy les traigo uno inspirado en Catrina pero esta vez utilicé colores neón, ideal para Halloween.

Según wikipedia La Catrina, originalmente llamada La Calavera Garbancera, es una figura creada por José Guadalupe Posada y bautizada por el muralista Diego Rivera. La palabra "catrín" definía a un hombre elegante y bien vestido, acompañado de alguna dama con las mismas características; este estilo fue una imagen clásica de la aristocracia mexicana de fines del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Es por ello que, al darle una vestimenta de ese tipo, Diego Rivera convirtió en su obra a “La Calavera Garbancera” en “La Catrina” diseñada en Aguascalientes.

I hope you are feeling well, after several days without being able to publish my makeups, today I bring you one inspired by Catrina but this time I used neon colors, ideal for Halloween.

According to wikipedia La Catrina, originally called La Calavera Garbancera, is a figure created by José Guadalupe Posada and baptized by the muralist Diego Rivera. The word "catrín " defined an elegant and well-dressed man, accompanied by a lady with the same characteristics; this style was a classic image of the Mexican aristocracy of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. That is why, by giving him an outfit of this type, Diego Rivera turned "La Calavera Garbancera" into "La Catrina" designed in Aguascalientes.

Sponge to blend foundation
Compact powder according to skin tone

Neon orange, green, yellow, blue, fuchsia

Kabuki or foundation brush

Tutorial paso a paso | Step by step tutorial

Empezamos con aplicar base arriba de los pómulos, difuminamos con la esponja, ahora con la brocha kabuki aplicamos el compacto en polvo para luego dibujar las cejas.

We start with applying foundation above the cheekbones, blending with the sponge, now with the kabuki brush we apply the powder compact and then draw the eyebrows.

Colocamos sombra negro en los tanto en el párpado móvil como inferior y con el lápiz negro delineamos la línea de agua.

We place black shadow on both the lower and lower eyelid and with the black pencil we outline the waterline.

Ahora procedemos aplicar corrector debajo de los ojos, difuminamos con la esponja, realizamos la cirugía con los tono 3 ó 4 y con la brocha kabuki ó para base aplicamos compacto en polvo para sellar.

Now proceed to apply concealer under the eyes, blend with the sponge, perform the surgery with tone 3 or 4 and with the kabuki or foundation brush apply compact powder to seal.

Empezaremos con diseñar el maquillaje de catrina, con un pincel y corrector tono 1, dibujamos las líneas alrededor de los ojos, pómulos, mejillas y barbilla. Sombreamos de fucsia justo en la línea dibujadas en el área de la frente, sombreamos de negro los labios, al igual que las mejillas, con delineador blanco dibujamos los dientes.

We will start with designing the catrina makeup, with a brush and concealer tone 1, we draw the lines around the eyes, cheekbones, cheeks and chin. We shade with fuchsia just in the line drawn in the forehead area, we shade with black the lips, as well as the cheeks, with white eyeliner we draw the teeth.

Le damos las tonalidades en el orden de su preferencia, en mi caso utilicé el amarillo alrededor de los ojos para darle luz al rostro, en los dientes utilice amarillo para los dientes principales y luego fui agregando los siguientes tonos neón, incluyendo la barbilla.

We give you the shades in the order of your preference, in my case I used yellow around the eyes to give light to the face, on the teeth I used yellow for the main teeth and then I added the following neon shades, including the chin.

Finalmente difuminamos bien la sombra negra justo donde terminan los dientes, aplicamos delineador blanco en las líneas neón, y terminamos el proceso colocando las pestañas.

Finally, we blend the black shadow just where the teeth end, apply white eyeliner on the neon lines, and finish the process by applying the lashes.
