Happy day to all my beautiful and talented #makeuppower makeup artists. Today is a special day because here I bring my participation to the initiative created by our appreciated @mayifiestas, who is one of the most proactive and dynamic girls in the community and presents this proposal to recreate a character of one of the largest entertainment chains such as Disney. | Feliz día para todos mis hermosos y talentosos maquilladores de #makeuppower. Hoy es un día especial porque por aquí traigo mi participación a la iniciativa creada por nuestra apreciada @mayifiestas, quien es una de las chicas más proactivas y dinámicas de la comunidad y nos presenta ésta propuesta para recrear un personaje de una de las más amplias cadenas de entretenimiento como lo es Disney |
Over the years we have seen how Disney has been a great pillar in the training industry, where The World Disney Company has already generated hundreds of thousands of jobs and a significant percentage of them are dedicated to makeup, styling and costumes. There is no doubt, makeup is nowadays in practically all the training industry. | A través de los años hemos visto como Disney ha sido un gran pilar en la industria del entrenamiento, dónde The World Disney Company ya generado cientos de miles de empleos y siendo un porcentaje significativo los que se dedican al maquillaje, estilismo y vestuario. No cabe dudas, el maquillaje hoy día está en prácticamente toda la industria del entrenamiento. |
The initiative is about choosing a Disney character and recreating him or her or creating a look alluding to that character that you love and that has accompanied you since childhood. I chose Scar, the villainous uncle of Simba, the Lion King. I have always liked villainous characters, they are more interesting, more eye-catching, they always bring that detail that makes them unique and very appealing. This villain, manages to fight hard to position himself on the throne that rightfully belongs to Simba, it is a beautiful story that captivated me since my childhood and that's why today I bring you this makeup. Here is the step by step: | La iniciativa se trata de elegir un personaje de Disney y recrearlo o bien crear un look alusivo a ese personaje que te encanta y que te ha acompañado desde la niñez. Yo elegí a Scar, el tío villano de Simba, el Rey León. A mí particularmente siempre me han gustado los personajes villanos, son más interesantes, más vistosos, siempre traen ese detalle que los hace únicos y muy atrayentes. Este villano, se las ingenia aguerridamente para luchar para posicionarse en el trono que legítimamente le pertenece a Simba, es una hermosa historia que me cautivó desde mi niñez y por eso hoy les traigo este maquillaje. I applied foundation all over the face and blended it. Then I sketched the design with a black eyeliner pencil. This is a simple gastaste design with sharp lines so I didn't have any complications. | Apliqué base para maquillaje en todo en rostro y los difuminé. Seguidamente realicé el boceto del diseño con un lápiz delineador negro. Este es un diseño gastaste simple de líneas definidas así que no tuve ninguna complicación. |

I applied yellow body paint on the top and Scar has a kind of white beard so I applied white body paint all over the chin area . I then sealed all these areas with shades of orange, brown and white colors accordingly. | Apliqué pintura corporal amarilla en la parte de arriba y Scar tiene una especie de barba blanca así que aplique pintura corporal blanca en toda la zona del mentón . Luego sellé todas estas zonas con sombras de colores naranja, marrón y blanco según corresponda. |

I started working with the black paint. I worked lines to define areas. I painted the nose, eyebrows and the edge of my hairline to further define the design. Then with white paint I worked some light areas, painted the characteristic scar above Scar's eyebrow and some hairs on the chin. I applied black body paint on the chest and on the edge of the design towards the sides of my cheeks. | Empecé a trabajar con la pintura negra. Trabajé líneas para definir áreas. Pinte la nariz, cejas y el borde del nacimiento de mi cabello para definir aún más el diseño. Luego con pintura blanca trabajé algunas áreas de luz, pinte la característica cicatriz sobre la ceja de Scar algo de pelos en el mentón. Apliqué pintura corporal negra en en pecho y en el borde del diseño hacia los costados de mis mejillas. |
