Scary Joker

Hola amigos, hoy vengo con algo terrorífico que realmente no sabía si me quedaría bien o no, algo que me gusta mucho de maquillaje son las calaveras pero si dificultad es algo que me detiene a veces de hacerlas muy seguido, ya que entre sombras y luces es que podemos dar esos efectos de volumen de una calavera real, los dientes son algo también que siempre me agobian porque hay que tener mucha paciencia para hacerlos y que tengan sentido, que queden “alineados” pero no tan alineados, es difícil la verdad, pero hoy les presento esta versión de Joker mezclada con una calavera me parecio una idea interesante y muy sombrio, espero que les guste este maquillaje.

Hello friends, today I come with something terrifying that I really didn't know if it would look good on me or not, something that I like a lot about makeup are skulls, but if it's difficult, it's something that sometimes stops me from doing them very often, since between shadows and lights is that we can give those volume effects of a real skull, the teeth are also something that always overwhelms me because you have to have a lot of patience to make them and make sense, that they are "aligned" but not so aligned, it is really difficult, but today I present this version of Joker mixed with a skull, I thought it was an interesting and very dark idea, I hope you like this makeup.

Proceso/Process

Como siempre, comencé ocultando mis cejas con pegamento en barra, antes de comenzar a pintar dibuje con lapiz de ojos negros las partes donde no pintaría de blanco, como los ojos, nariz y boca una vez listo esta especie de boceto, comencé a aplicar la pintura blanca alrededor de mi rostro, luego pinte la cuenca de los ojos con negro, selle con polvo traslucido y comencé a agregar sombra de ojo marrón en mis pómulos y las partes donde quería dar sombra, las partes más profundas irían de marrón mezclado con sombra negra, aplique pintura roja alrededor de la forma negra que pinte en mi nariz, asi como también alrededor de la boca, con pintura azul hice las formas características del joker.

As always, I started by hiding my eyebrows with a glue stick, before starting to paint I drew with a black eye pencil the parts where I would not paint white, such as the eyes, nose and mouth once this kind of sketch was ready, I began to apply the white paint around my face then paint the eye socket black, seal with translucent powder and start adding brown eyeshadow on my cheekbones and the parts where I wanted to shade, the deeper parts would go brown mixed with shadow black, apply red paint around the black shape I painted on my nose, as well as around the mouth, with blue paint I made the characteristic shapes of the joker.

Pinte unas cejas con rojo, todo bastante desaliñado ya que quería dar ese efecto, agregue mas sombras con varias tonalidades de marron, era algo en lo que tarde bastante porque no me sentía completamente satisfecha con las sombras, finalmente cuando me gusto, fue cuando comencé a pintar los dientes con pintura blanca, agregando sombras con negro en cada esquina de los dientes, como toque final quise pintar parte de mi cuello y aplicar pequeños puntos de pintura marrón y roja en todo el maquillaje, esto lo hice con ayuda de un cepillo de dientes y colocándole mucha agua a mis pinturas corporales a base de agua, ese ultimo toque me gusto mucho porque da un aspecto aun mas desaliñado.

I painted some eyebrows with red, all quite messy since I wanted to give that effect, I added more shadows with various shades of brown, it was something that took a long time because I did not feel completely satisfied with the shadows, finally when I liked it, that's when I started to paint the teeth with white paint, adding shadows with black in each corner of the teeth, as a final touch I wanted to paint part of my neck and apply small points of brown and red paint throughout the makeup, I did this with the help of a brush of teeth and putting a lot of water on my water-based body paints, I liked that last touch a lot because it gives an even more scruffy look.

Final

Creo que asusté a todos en casa con este maquillaje jajaja, pero eso es buena señal ¿no?

Pero la verdad es que estuvo muy divertido y me sentí contenta de haberlo logrado a pesar de estar algo dudosa cuando comencé.

I think I scared everyone at home with this makeup lol, but that's a good sign right?
But the truth is that it was a lot of fun and I was happy to have achieved it despite being a little doubtful when I started.
