Here in Buenos Aires, the dandelion plant is abundant in this winter season. However, I had not been able to go out to take photos because of the weather, something unusual for me. It so happened that while I was taking the photos, a sudden breeze began to blow and the seeds, which are bristles that function as parachutes, began to fly away, leaving the flower bare. It was quite a sight. The umbrellas spun in the wind dancing one after the other. By the way, although their flowers are frequently visited by pollinators, and the flowers provide them with nectar, they do not depend on insects for pollination. Aquí en Buenos Aires, la planta del diente de león es abundante en esta época de invierno. Sin embargo, no había podido salir a tomar fotos por el clima, algo inusual para mí. Sucedió que mientras sacaba las fotos, comenzó a soplar una brisa repentina y las semillas, que son cerdas que funcionan como paracaídas, comenzaron a volar, dejando la flor desnuda. Fue todo un espectáculo. Los paraguas giraban al viento bailando uno tras otro. Por cierto, aunque sus flores son visitadas con frecuencia por los polinizadores, y las flores les proporcionan néctar, no dependen de los insectos para la polinización.
