As soon as I read about the cables and wires contest that is being run by #qurator I had an aha moment, a bit like Alan Partridge!
We’ve just come back from Funchal where there is a cable car connecting the town with Monte located in the hills overlooking the city.
I took a number of photos where i was looking for quirky angles of the cable car in the context of its surroundings. These are the photos i came up with.
This is my favourite out of the lot as I loved the colours of the buildings, the light and shadow. The overhead cable car punctuating it.
The final photo is really cool. I wanted to isolate one of the cable cars in the sky and it worked really nicely.
