Para mí el entusiasmo es esa emoción que sentimos cuando hacemos algo, que nos encanta y que nos proporciona alegría, placer. Es como un motor de vida, nos impulsa a sacar las fuerzas necesarias para materializar eso que nos mantiene en acción.
For me, enthusiasm is that emotion that we feel when we do something, that we love and that gives us joy, pleasure. It is like an engine of life, it drives us to draw the necessary strength to materialize that which keeps us in action.
Cuando se tiene entusiasmo, cualquier esfuerzo pasa a segundo plano, somos indetenibles y cada logro alimenta esa llama, manteniéndola encendida. Es un ciclo que nos permite avanzar.
Pero también es una actitud, una forma de vida, dos personas pueden sentirse completamente diferentes acerca de un mismo asunto, porque tienen motivaciones diferentes.
When we are enthusiastic, any effort takes a back seat, we are unstoppable and each achievement feeds that flame, keeping it burning. It is a cycle that allows us to move forward.
But it is also an attitude, a way of life, two people can feel completely different about the same issue, because they have different motivations.

Por eso es importante que tengamos claro nuestro propósito de vida, porqué hacemos cada cosa que hacemos, hacia dónde vamos. Debemos encontrarnos, antes de salir a buscar algo fuera de nosotros, sino nuestros esfuerzos son en vano. es agotador, caminar sin dirección, nos desgasta y no encontraremos esa ancla que necesitamos, para no perdernos y mantener una actitud entusiasta.
That is why it is important that we are clear about our purpose in life, why we do everything we do, where we are going. We must find ourselves, before going out to look for something outside of us, otherwise our efforts are in vain. It is exhausting, walking without direction, it wears us out and we will not find that anchor we need, so as not to get lost and to maintain an enthusiastic attitude.
Con el enfoque adecuado, todo lo que hagamos puede ser una aventura. Recuerdo que alguien me dijo una vez, que hasta lavar los platos, que era algo que no le gustaba, él lo hacía con entusiasmo, porque de esa manera tenía la oportunidad de agradar a Dios con su actitud. La queja y la pesadumbre, son contrarias al agradecimiento y tenemos muchísimo para agradecer en la vida, aunque pensemos que no.
With the right approach, everything we do can be an adventure. I remember someone once told me that even washing the dishes, which was something he did not like, he did it with enthusiasm, because that way he had the opportunity to please God with his attitude. Complaining and regret are contrary to thankfulness and we have a lot to be thankful for in life, even if we think we do not.

Entonces, el agradecimiento y el entusiasmo van de la mano. Si valoramos lo que tenemos, nuestro corazón siente regocijo por todo lo que recibe cada instante, desde despertar cada mañana, respirar, poder caminar, ver, tener alimentos, personas que nos aman, salud... la lista es infinita y la mayoría de lo que tenemos no tiene precio, ni tenemos cómo pagarlo, por lo que deberíamos al menos albergar gratitud.
So, gratitude and enthusiasm go hand in hand. If we value what we have, our heart feels joy for everything it receives every instant, from waking up every morning, breathing, being able to walk, see, have food, people who love us, health ... the list is endless and most of what we have is priceless, nor do we have how to pay for it, so we should at least harbor gratitude.

A veces, cuando aparece el desánimo queriendo arruinarme el día, respiro profundo y busco un espacio natural donde pueda despejar mi mente y recordar por que hago lo que hago y por qué estoy donde estoy. Recuerdo que sólo son pasos para llegar a mi objetivo final, es sólo parte del camino, no mi destino y si debo pasar por allí, qué importa, es temporal.
Cuando logro enfocarme en mi meta, entonces vuelve la calma a mí. Como dije antes, por eso es importante que sepamos lo que estamos haciendo.
Sometimes, when discouragement appears wanting to ruin my day, I take a deep breath and look for a natural space where I can clear my mind and remember why I do what I do and why I am where I am. I remember that these are just steps to get to my ultimate goal, it's just part of the way, not my destination and if I have to go through it, so what, it's temporary.
When I manage to focus on my goal, then calm comes back to me. As I said before, that is why it is important that we know what we are doing.
Disfrutemos el camino / Let's enjoy the road
Recordemos que nuestro tiempo aquí es limitado, nosotros decidimos cómo lo usamos: podemos estacionarnos en lo que creemos que nos falta y vivir paralizados por el desánimo o, activarnos para ir tras lo que anhelamos, haciendo que cada día cuente.
Es mejor equivocarse mil veces, que nunca intentarlo, así que ¡Animo!
Let's remember that our time here is limited, we decide how we use it: we can park ourselves in what we think we lack and live paralyzed by discouragement or, activate ourselves to go after what we long for, making every day count.
It is better to be wrong a thousand times than to never try, so Courage!
