En nuestro país han pasado tantas cosas que muchos corazones se han endurecidos, el salario en el subsuelo, muchos ciudadanos se revientan la vida trabajando duro, se “parten el lomo” como decimos coloquialmente por “tres lochas”, muchos maestros que no son bien remunerados, médicos que dan su vida en hospitales públicos que reciben un mísero sueldo.
Sé que esto ha hecho que el corazón de muchos venezolanos se endurezcan, y les haya tocado dejar la profesión que tanto amaban por ejercer otros trabajos para buscar un poquito de equilibrio económico para su hogar con un sueldo un poco mayor. Otras personas que siguen trabajando en puestos públicos pero que han tenido que recurrir a los “chanchullos” para poder tener ingresos monetarios para no morirse de hambre, otros se han metido a estafadores buscando el camino fácil, encontrando el dinero fácil quitándoselos a aquellos que han confiado en ellos.

Con estos dos años y pico de pandemia a nivel mundial que hemos vivido muchas personas han aflorado su verdadera personalidad, el que es bueno, ha sacado su generosidad, su valentía, su entrega, su servicio para con los demás, pero el que es menos bueno, se ha aprovechado de estos años de crisis de salud, económica, emocional, mental, etc., sacando lo peor de ellos y exprimiendo a los indefensos y necesitados.

En esta crisis de salud que seguimos viviendo, he podido notar en el ámbito profesional de la salud malos médicos que han experimentado con la “vida” de los demás dando tratamientos erróneos, maltratando al pueblo en los hospitales, desangrando a los enfermos con sus malos tratos, pero no todo queda ahí, porque también existen esos “superhéroes”, esos médicos que no les importó arriesgar su vida por cuidar y atender pacientes con Covid-19, que a pesar que no sabían cómo enfrentar este monstruo de esta enfermedad, porque es algo nuevo, no estaban preparados para algo tan terrible, salieron al ruedo, dando lo mejor de ellos, sin tener los implementos para protegerse bien, no les importó sino que se dedicaron a cuidar del enfermo, dar una palabra de consuelo a los familiares ante tantas muertes, muchos les tocó llorar con los pacientes, muchos perdieron también compañeros del personal médico, amigos colegas, quizás la sociedad sumida en tanto dolor por tanta pérdida humana nos olvidamos de esos “héroes” que daban su vida por desconocidos, por el pueblo venezolano.
No podemos manchar la imagen de los médicos por algunos que no han cumplido con sus juramentos que hacen al graduarse, o han perdido la ética, no “restemos”, más bien “sumemos”. Son más los médicos que se han vuelto solidarios con el pueblo venezolano, realizan sus consultas a bajos costos, no porque sean piratas ni porque no sean médicos reconocidos, sino que se hacen parte de la gran problemática que tenemos en nuestro país, apoyemos a los médicos, oremos por ellos, si conoces alguno anímalo a que siga estudiando, que no pierda el “amor al prójimo”, a su vocación, ayudémoslo para que su corazón siempre se ensanche de generosidad y no de avaricia.

Hace quince días pasamos por una situación delicada con mi nieta nueva, mi bella Amaia. La llevamos de emergencia a un ambulatorio, no tenían ni un estetoscopio, nadie quiso asumir la responsabilidad, la vieron muy mal. Fuimos a una clínica, y la estabilizaron...Gracias a Dios.
