The inspired mind

source

Perhaps you have been told someone woke up on the right side of the bed? or perhaps on the wrong side? These are expressions to depict the unanswerable cause of a change in mood, either positively or negatively. There are times and days when our moods are super excited, as though a lottery has been won. Yet there are those days when we would prefer to be locked up in the solitude of withdrawal.

These emotions influence our willingness to bring out the perceived best or worst in us. The mind becomes a field for an expression of greatness or mediocrity. Inspiration is a powerful tool that can manifest a lot of that greatness, yet it is intangible. It is the fulcrum of how best we can perform, irrespective of how good we may have been in the field of study. A creator would probably produce a mediocre piece if inspiration was inadequate or lacking.

The intangible evolves a dimension of expertise, relishing satiety and excellence in a limited space of time. Whereas a mind lacking the intangible would produce mediocre work in the ampleness of unlimited time and space.

What then? Shall we wait for inspiration to knock on our gates, or shall we beckon it over? The mind is the field that houses the intangible, releasing all the machinery for excellence. A merry heart produces results, but a sad heart only breeds incompetence.

There are days I wish I wrote a piece, but my mood would hesitate to favor my quiver, wrenching every effort geared towards my produce. A lightening of the mood and a blissful heart bring comfort to the troubled mind, pouring out unimaginable inspiration, a tale of ecstasy, and a masterpiece delivered: a result of the intangible.

Nature gladly bestows without asking, pointing the mind in the direction of exploration, drawing along strong motivation, a tip to inquisitiveness, tapping from self and others, making the environment a field of opportunities, bringing the world closer, and making the perspective sharper for an eventual product of excellence. This is intangible inspiration.
