I don't own land yet, but after getting the "cards will work the land" angle, I try to buy cheap cards as well in the instance, I can snap an affordable plot of land in 2022.
And reward cards are the cheapest at the moment.
You're right, it is exciting to guess, what comes next for Splinterlands and when will the different phases of the game be implemented. I think, land will be a few months down the road. Maybe after the end of the current reward card printing.
And we don't know, how the prices of CL cards will influence the market.
