Looks like Punks on Hive is the hype of the weeks. I see a lot of people talking about it and showing off their most unique acquisitions. Some even managed to turn a 20 HIVE purchase into 200x+ gains. The point is, people are having fun during Hive Fest season.
So, I'm here to be like everyone else and show off what I got for 16 mints. For 320 HIVE, I don't know if I will ever get one sold.
It's a shame I didn't get any of the rarer punks, but I liked the judge in the frog suit. He is my profile picture now. Ace Bradley sounds like a good name for most professions. My next favorite is Maximus Roman. He may not be rare, but he looks great.
This group is not as exciting. Although, I'm sure some people might find the rainbow glasses appealing. I did end up with Punk #444, if you are superstitious.
Adam Velazquez is not rare at all, but his profession is definitely something I can relate to. A blood banker is one of the specialties you get into as a laboratory professional. So, while there's no immediate monetary value, he does have sentimental values.
But dang, they all have the same head.
I don't know if my Punks will be worth anything. I'm gonna hold them for the time being. At the very least, I got to experience the novelty of NFT hype (non-game related) I had avoided this cycle.
I want to thank @themarkymark for putting this together. I had the privilege to see some of the behind-the-scene progress as he worked on them nonstop. He most likely hasn't gotten much sleep at all the past few days. Yet, he's up and making sure people get what they paid for and stomping out the hiccups as they come.
