dCity Starter Cities for sale - get in on the ground floor of the next phase of dCity!

Hello everyone, I am @ecoinstant, the dCity operator for the OneUp Cartel. I am probably the top ambassador for dCity overall, as a major player and the currently elected president through in-game governance.

dCity has had a long and storied history. Overtime, the game has transformed, and the price, especially of SIM, has fallen greatly from past days. Sometimes, this can mean that a project is over. But today, it is my intention to convince you not only that dCity is very much alive and under renewed development, but exactly how to invest a few tokens to get in basically on the ground floor of the next phase of this long term HIVE project.

Here's a link to a free guide I wrote to make your own starter city without buying it from me.

Now before we look at what I have to offer, including a never before seen model that I clocked at 72% apr from 3 sources, out of the box, I want to go through what has been going on recently with dCity.

I won't hide it, in the name of playing the game, I have gone to the next level and begun to strengthen my iron grip on governance to minimize the amount of SIM that was being printed every day. So far SIM price remains about 20% off the bottom price even though HIVE has pumped vigorously in the meantime.

dCity has developed over many years a unique form of token governance more advanced than any other game I have ever seen. Players (with SIM Power) can manipulate the levers of the economy. The President can do some additional levers, sure, but the SIM power controls a lot of the distribution of distributions, which affects which meta strategies get rewarded more - through the LOBBY page:

This whole new phase, in my eyes, started with fresh development by game creator @gerber, who has continued to implement what is being called the 'Citizen Cycle', of which the main innovation, the main SIM sink, is the Human Experimentation.

I know it sounds funny but they are just tokens. Personally, I tokenized a fund to direct 10,000 HIVE through the Human Experimentation loop with the LABFUND project, and to set a floor under the price of all citizens, there by guaranteeing the profitability of new players to enter into the game doing what we call 'citizen mining'.

It really is a new way to play the game. It is not the so-called intuitive way of the past, as it is a popularity based build (inspired by my own original designs) instead of an income based build.

Like this extremely robust model I am offering for 200 HIVE:

This is my current generation model, with 2419 popularity, good for mining citizens even under higher war tax conditions. With 4 Nature Zones, you have both a good tax rebate base, as well as some rare 2nd edition cards that can be used for trading or upgrading later. It gets a small bit of ranking rewards, offering a good base from which the player can chose to go in one of several different directions, including selling everything the city earns and taking profits from day one.

I must emphasize that dCity is not like Splinterlands. This is a simulation through time and some of that comes in the form of changing conditions (developments). As the game meta is switching to tax rebates, negative income and citizen mining, some inactive players are getting left behind. If this concerns you, remember - we are on the cusp of this new paradigm! While changes will continue to occur, there will likely never be more runway than right now.

¿¿3rd Edition card minting closing??

There is a rumor going around about 3rd edition closing. It hasn't been announced yet, so probably it is not happening soon. But I think it is likely that it will happen eventually. dCity is a living game. Consider getting some exposure now, if you have no interest in a city, consider derivative tokens like ARMERO or LABFUND.

New Starter City Model:

Under the new conditions that I am imposing as president, I explored a tiny tax haven, this city valued at around 800k SIM, but if you tried to buy the parts individually the prices would go through the roof. Lots of rare citizens, and my napkins tell me it has the potential to do 72%+ apr (based on these market prices).

I can only field a few of these, but I would let one or more go for 350 HIVE. Leave me a comment or ping me in the trading-zone channel of the dCity Discord or CARTEL discord.

I am packaging up different starter cities, so that I can be ready to open up this game to new players, under this new paradigm. I have bought out many older, tired players of their cards to be able to make these starter cities as affordable as possible (especially the 200 HIVE model!)

But remember, while 3rd edition remains open you can always Follow my Free Guide! to make one yourself, in the example I use 160.5 HIVE, and continually monitor the city which has been very successful.

I believe dCity makes a good, inexpensive and fun training module to help people new to #crypto in their understanding tokens and markets. @trostparadox might be interested in this for students.

Within dCity, there are dozens of types of NFTs under 10 different categories:

Each NFT has its own multi-currency market, although most things are transacted through SIM. This is literally 'trading', which so many people have heard about, without risk of losing too much money. Inside the game, you can never risk more than your initial capital and you reduce your exposure with every citizen mined; every market is an opportunity for learning, experiment and even potentially profits.

To me dCity is a perfect 'crypto starter game', and with a starter city you can't go wrong. Its passive enough that you can check just once a month, but responsive enough that you can play for hours and still be discovering new things. The Simulation Tab is great fun, and free!

If you are bullish about #NFTgaming, just trying to learn the basics of NFT tokens and currencies, or trying to teach a newbie friend, getting a dCity starter city set up is a good move. As your CARTEL operator, I have agreed to make guides showing people how to invest in the 'alpha' of these NFT games, and I have included links to several of those in this article.

Whether you buy a starter city from me or someone else, or roll your own, consider giving dCity a look, even as an onboarding tool.
