Here's my 57th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️
Well, I finally caught up to all my Brawl reports! 🎉🤣. I'm still really busy, but I'll just systematically clear my list of "to-writes" one at a time 😁.
It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 40th week in a row for me.

My win rate % went up a tad bit to hit 61%. It was a most peculiar week for me in the previous guild brawl where I somehow only had 1 match to play, and it was a walkover for me because my opponent fled. I don't quite get why anyone will flee a brawl, unless it was a misclick of a button, or he had completely no Gold Foil summoners to even field any sort of a team. More power to me I guess? 😜
I'm a tad bit short of being able to purchase and open 3 Gladius packs at a go, so 2 will have to suffice. I can't wait to spend these accumulated MERITS for one more week having been delayed for such a long time 🤣.
Unfortunately, I've not got much luck in the pack opening department this time round. No Legendaries or Gold Foils. Until the next time I guess. 🤷♂

As usual, I make an extra effort to rent ✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion✨ cards that align with my daily focus during Guild Brawl days.
Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)
Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉
With all that said, lets FINALLY get down to a review and quick analysis of my battles 🧐⚔️🛡️, or in some cases where my opponent fled 🏃🏻💨 - non battles 😨.

I initially thought I had COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN to join in my usual FRAY because when the battle started, I found myself with NOTHING at all! 😱 I actually got quite irritated and beat myself up over it. How could I possibly have forgotten? I usually check and "harass" everyone else with reminders to join in the frays when they start 😅, and forgetting it myself was unacceptable.
Fortunately, once the entire battle ended, I realised that I received a share of the MERIT rewards too! 🎉 This meant I DID join my usual fray, except that there wasn't ANY opponents at all?! 😱
A most odd situation indeed. And I thought last week's one couldn't have gotten any weirder. This time round, I didn't even get a chance to do anything. All I could do where cheer from the sidelines 😅.

0 WINS/LOSSES/DRAWS ? A COMPLETE ZERO anything in fact. I was there but I had nothing to do at all! 🎉
Not quite sure what to make of this. I didn't get to add anything into my columns of wins/losses/draws. It's like this entire battle didn't even exist for me. At least I still got to share in the rewards by piggybacking of everyone's good work 😈.
I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.

Amazing! I feel kinda guilty I wasn't able to contribute in any way. Not that it was under any of my control at all. I mean, what can I do if I don't even have an opponent? 🤣 To be honest, does that even give the guild any bonus points of any sort? I've got no idea. This is something I probably need to look into.
It was a very close fight for 1st, with the 2nd placed guild level on WINS with us, but we had a much lesser number of LOSSES.
