Here's my 53rd Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️
It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 36th week in a row for me.

It looks like I'm back up to that 60% self imposed threshold again thanks to that perfect run of 3 wins during my last brawl 😁. Will it last past this week though? 😜 I sure do hope so.
As mentioned in my previous post, I was too busy to get any Gladius packs the last time round, so I now have enough for 2. And boy was I happy with the results! 🎉😍.
2 EPICS, 2 RARES and a GOLD FOIL COMMON!
To be honest, I'm most pleased with the Gold Foil, even more so than that 2 Epics. That card will help me in my Gold Foil Fray 12 far more than the rest. 😁 It might "only" be a common, but we all know how rare any Gladius Gold Foil is and how strong all of them are. I'm really looking forward to unleash this beast against unsuspecting opponents 😈.

As usual, I make an extra effort to rent ✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion✨ cards that align with my daily focus during Guild Brawl days.
Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)
Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉
With all that said, lets FINALLY get down to a review and quick analysis of my battles 🧐⚔️🛡️, or in some cases where my opponent fled 🏃🏻💨 - non battles 😨.

Our lineups might have seemed similar, but the main difference was the gulf in quality of our main tanks. I fielded a Cursed Windeku while my opponent could only make do with a crypt beetle. Once his tank quickly crumbled (and with my Witch getting bloodlusted in the process), there was really no doubt as to the result of the battle. Zero casualties for me here.
This was a Perfect Victory! 💯

This was a really closer than it looked. I would say I won thanks to my Witch of Warwick. She scored 5 kills out of the 6 and became a 1 man army - tanking and killing everything in her path. If not for that, the opponent would probably have out damaged me with his ranged DPS-ers.
This once again shows how ridiculously strong Gold Foil Gladiators are. They are SO RARE and can really tilt the battle in your favour 😱.

2 WINS! A PERFECT run of victories! 🎉 Yes! Another consecutive week of a perfect run! This might be the first time I've ever done so in consecutive weeks 🤔. I wonder how long I can keep this going 🤣. The Law of Averages say I'm probably due for a crushing defeat soon. Well, regardless, I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts 😜. 💯
I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.

A spectacular finish! We're doing really well recently. I've actually kind of lost count of the number of 1st place finishes in the past month or so 🤣. It was really close between us and the 2nd place with just 1 win separating the 2. This shows how important each and every win is.
