Dear friends, here I come once again with my mechanical repairs, this time I had to do some homework to give a good reference of the activity to be performed.
I say that I had to do the task because a customer fell in love with a project to restore a boat that has been in the house of a friend for a long time, in my life had come to be a work of mechanics and maintenance of a boat so I had to even investigate about it to get things right.
This boat is 16 feet and is equipped with a 115HP JOHNSON two-stroke outboard engine, the rudder control is central in the hull, which requires a hydraulic system and hoses to direct the actions to the engine.

Queridos amigos por aquí vengo una vez mas con mis reparaciones mecanicas, en esta oportunidad me toco hacer tareas para poder ddar una buena referencia de la actividad a realizar.
Digo que me toco hacer la tarea puesto que un cliente se enamoro de un proyecto de restaurar una lancha que ha estado en la casa de un amigo por mucho tiempo, en mi vida habia llegado a mi un trabajo de mecanica y mantenimiento de una lancha por lo que me toco hasta investigar al respecto para lograr hacer las cosas bien.
Esta embarcacion es de 16 Pies y esta equipada con un motor fuera de borda de 115HP marca JOHNSON de dos tiempos, el control del timon es central en el casco, lo que requiere de un sistema hidraulico y de guayas para dirigir las acciones al motor.

Header is the power unit of the equipment and under the cover that serves to protect the environment is the engine along with a set of accessories such as the lubrication tank, the electrical system and can be adapted to the starting system, these engines come inline or V configuration as the engines we already know.
The Support is responsible for fixing the engine to the stern or mirror of the boat, this contributes to the damping, direction, and tilt of the engine, with a good installation, helps reduce noise inside the boat.
The Transmission or lower part of the equipment is where the impulse is generated to the boat through the propeller, in this part is also the water pump for the cooling system and the exit of the exhaust gases under the water, it is also where the rudder acts varying the direction of thrust of the propeller.
Cabezal es la unidad de potencia del equipo y bajo la tapa que sirve para proteger del medio ambiente se encuentra el motor junto a un conjuntos de accesorios como son el tanque de lubricación, el sistema eléctrico y se le puede adaptar el sistema de arranque, estos motores vienen en configuración en línea o en V tal cual los motores que ya conocemos.
El Soporte es el encargado de fijar el motor a la popa o espejo de la embarcación, este contribuye en la amortiguación, dirección e inclinación del motor, con una buena instalación ayuda a reducir ruidos dentro de la lancha.
La Transmisión o parte inferior del equipo es donde se genera el impulso a la lancha a través de la hélice, en esta parte también se encuentra la bomba de agua para el sistema de refrigeración y la salida de los gases de escape por debajo del agua, también es donde actúa el timón variando la dirección de empuje de la hélice.

Hasta aquí les termino de contar parte de la teoría que aprendí de los motores fuera de borda, ahora hablemos un poco de lo que nos toca hacerle a esta lancha.

Para esta lancha cuadre con el cliente que lo primero que debemos hacer es quitarle la función de armario y recoger de ella todas las partes que no le pertenecen, para así poder generar un buen plan de trabajo para esta restauración.

El casco aunque no está pintado tiene una reciente restauración con fibra para eliminar antiguas filtraciones o quizás alguna fisura que haya podido tener, toca terminar de desmontar la tapicería para poder realizar el trabajo de pintura del casco.

Como paso siguiente se le puede colocar todo el sistema eléctrico bien identificado y resguardado para colocar por ultimo una buena alfombra y los asientos tapizados.
Al motor según los dueños anteriores funcionaba correctamente solo que tenia fallas en la bujía y bobina, lo que toca hacer un buen mantenimiento y diagnostico para ponerlo en marcha y verificar que tan bien funciona, al igual que se realizara mantenimiento a la bomba de aguas para comprobar que no genere un mal funcionamiento y recaliente el sistema.
The trailer where the boat is transported will have its tires replaced and the bearings will undergo preventive maintenance. The operation of the rear lights and the ropes that hold the boat will also be checked.

Al tráiler donde se transporta la lancha se le van a reemplazar los neumáticos y se realizara un mantenimiento preventivo a los rodamientos, también se comprobara el funcionamiento de las luces traseras y de las sogas que sujetan la embarcación.
Este proyecto de restauración es un proceso que se va a llevar a cabo de segundo plano, por lo que se va a ir trabajando luego de las prioridades hasta que se concluya, hasta aquí mi entrega el dia de hoy espero que les haya gustado.
