My old bike almost disappointed me today.
It has been a means of transportation as it help ease my movement and even the cost of moving from one place to another.
I had wanted to vist a friend in a distant place so i intended to use the bike.
But it did not start, i never knew what the cause is, as i am not a mechanical engineer and i know nothing about fixing machines with fault as i always have someone who does the work then i pay but this time around he is not close and so i have to make contact for help.
I called a friend of mine who know much about it, as it is sunday and getting mechanic on Sunday is very difficult.
He told me to check the plug that it might be the cause.
The plug
So I had to follow instructions.
First i picked my plug spanner which i used to loosen the plug.
Plug spanner
It's a ring with two hole at the top.
Fixed nail in the hole.
I fixed a big nail into the holes to make the grip for easy turning.
Then he asked me to remove the ignition on the plugs head,( it's a small wire tied on the plud) it transfer power to the remaining part of the machine.
Remove the ignition
Then i placed the plug spanner on the plig with yhe nail attached to it.
Fixe the plug spanner on the plug
Then I turned anti clock wise to loosen the plug from the plug-engine.
I loosed and removed it from the engine.
Loosen the plug
I discovered the plug was a bit dirty as it was black.
Dirty plug
He told me to wash it with a petrol, which i did.
After washing the plug
It became neat after the washing.
Then i fixed it back to the engine plug, using same method i used to loosen it.
Kicking the machine
I then fixed the ignition to it
I kicked the machine and to my geatest suprise it started and this is my first time of trying to fix a machine that has fault.
The machine start.
