After going 33-49 in the 2021 season, the LA Lakers management is looking to build their team. LeBron and Anthony Davis are powerhouses on the team, and their fame and performance speak for themselves. The team suffered seven losses in a row, and were eliminated from the playoffs after a tumultuous season. With superstars Lebron James, Anthony Davis and rising star Russell Westbrook, the Lakers had a rough season and need to focus next season with their new coach Darvin Ham.
The LA Lakers need to focus on filling out their roster, and need stronger defensive players. After a disappointing end to their season, it is apparent that the teams needs a counterbalance to LeBron and Davis' offensive powerhouse. LeBron's injury that took him out of several games was a factor, and their performance was hindered. Losing seven games in a row necessitated a new coach, and Darvin Ham was selected for his long history and knowledge. Let's hope the team pulls together next season.
The Lakers have just hired Darvin Ham to be the new head coach for the 2022 season. Hopefully he can build out the award-winning franchise that is the LA Lakers. The team had a number of amazing games, but holes in their defense led to several key losses. Russell Westbrook's addition to the team alongside LeBron and Davis in 2021 was rough, and Ham needs to leverage his experience to make this team function.
The Lakers are a famous franchise, and alot is happening to reignite their hustle. I'm looking forward to watching the NBA 2022 season and how Ham will make it happen.
