Welcome to the inaugural Monday Sports Talk Social Quiz!
The community already has a number of great contests for Hive users to get involved in so I thought why not add a weekly quiz to the offerings?
Every Monday, I'll be asking 5 questions and quite simply they'll be a 10K SPORTS prize for whoever gives the correct answer to each question first.
Also, I'll be keeping a league table (I mean it's a sports quiz so there has to be a league table, right?) and every time you are the first person to get an answer right you'll score 1 point. At the end of the month the person who has scored the most points for that month will win a 500k SPORTS delegation.
For the questions themselves, I'll be mixing up the format and experimenting with what works but my main aim will be to create a series of questions that can't be Googled, are accessible to all i.e. different sports from around the world and are good fun!
The Boring Bit (The rules)
Hopefully most of these are common sense but to avoid any doubt...
- The first person to answer each question correctly will win 10K liquid SPORTS tokens
- It is at my discretion as to what is considered a correct answer
- Contestants will have until the post pays outs to submit their answers i.e. 7 days
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise there is no limit to the number of guesses an individual can make
- Users can answer as many of the 5 questions as they like i.e. if you just want to have a try at 1 of the questions that's ok if you want to go for all 5 then even better!
- Users must indicate which question(s) they are answering (see example below)
- No duplicate accounts. 1 person, 1 entry
- Each time you are the first person to answer a question correctly you get 1 point
- The user with the most points that calendar month gets 500K SPORTS delegation
- Monthly points are calculated from the date the post was made i.e. a post made on 31st January would count towards January's total points even though users may be submitting answers in February
- In the event of a tie, the monthly delegation will be distributed evenly across all accounts with the most points that month
- The delegation will be made from the point the last post of that month pays out and will last for 20 consecutive days
- I reserve the right to exclude anyone from winning either prize if they break the above rules or are acting in a way that damages the Sports Talk Social community by posting plagiarised or not sports related content

Questions 1 to 3 - Say what you see! Famous Sports Clubs
The first 3 questions are going to be the same format and if you've ever seen the TV show Catchphrase then you'll probably have a good idea of how to play.
However, for those who haven't played before let's do a quick example with the 4 images below. All you need to do is say what you see in each picture and you'll get the name of a famous sports team.
Example
So in our example, you should be able to see

- Her
- City
Man - Chest - Her - City = Manchester City
You'll may need to use some lateral thinking here but otherwise easy peasy!

Question 4 - Magic Numbers (maximum 1 guess per person)
Work out the individual sports stats below to give me the magic number at the end. If no one gets it exactly right then the nearest guess will win!

Question 5 - Who am I? (maximum 1 guess per person)
Pretty straight forward. Use the clues below to guess this world renowned athlete
- I am without a doubt the most successful athlete in my chosen sport
- Before my 16th birthday, I became the youngest male athlete in my chosen sport to set a world record
- In fact, I still hold 1 individual world record and 2 team world records even though I no longer compete
- I originally retired in 2012 only to make a comeback 2 years later
- I was once arrested for drink driving
