United Thump Chelsea for Four

Chelsea football club just can't catch a break at the moment. In a completely miserable season for their blues, they suffer defeat yet again, this time at the home of the greatest rivals. A game that always has something at stake. This time the Blues conceded four goals to one to take their loss to sixteen in the premier league. Unbelievable. That makes it the first time since the 90s that they would finish at the bottom half of the table.

MUN VS CHE

In a game that really had nothing at stake except for pride, albeit United needed just one point to complete their return to the Uefa Champions League; The Chelsea players failed to turn up. The game started off in frantic fashion with Chelsea having the elephant share of possession, but an early goal from Casemiro who got on the end of an Eriksen free-kick already put United in pole position. The game continued in a similar fashion with Chelsea having all the possession but United getting the best chances. They could have easily scored five or six goals. Anthony Martial doubled the home side's lead late in the first half, as he got at the end of Sancho's pass to Tap-in at the far post. The story was no different in the second half as Wesley Fofana tripped Bruno Fernandes in the box to hand the Portuguese the opportunity to take the game away from the Blues, which he converted. A few minutes later, Marcus Rashford was gifted a chance to equal record thirty goals in a season as Wesley Fofana again threaded a bizarre pass across the face of Goal. Joao Felix pulled one back late in the game, but it was too little too late. In the last twenty-four games against the "big four" (Man City, Man U, Arsenal, and Liverpool), Chelsea has only won one and lost a staggering 12 games. WOW. Much to be done for Pochettino when he gets in next season. Feels like this season should be deleted. ;(
