You never have to fight for self-defense, so why do you need to learn martial art and self-defense? Or, you are a good guy and everyone loves you. There is no threat. So why should you learn martial art?
If you never have to fight to protect yourself, that's great! That's what we wish. Even people who learn self-defense and martial art do not want to have a fight. If you can avoid a situation or prevent anything without having a fight, that's awesome.
You do not know what's going on in someone's mind. You're a good guy. You think there is no threat. Well, most of the time, victims are also good guys. You're a good guy, that does not mean no one will hurt you.
In case you are being attacked and your life is in danger, then what? Learning self-defense can give you the advantage to defend yourself in a situation like this.
So what's the benefit of learning self-defense if you never fight?
When you learn any martial art or self-defense, you also learn basic exercises. You need to do exercise regularly. You have to be physically fit. And we all know the benefits of doing exercise.
To have a healthy body and mind, no one can deny the benefit of doing exercise. You can enjoy your life when you are healthy and fit. It will boost your immune system and protect you from getting sick.
You can see the difference when someone is confident and when someone is not. You will be more confident when you know what you are dealing with. Martial art helps you handle unfavorable situations in a better way. You will be more confident dealing with that.
