Hello sports lovers! I hope you are well and you are as energetic as I am. Actually, I wanted to talk about the Olympics for the last time today. But we can do this later. Because a new tournament will start very soon.
European Volleyball Championship begins. Today's fixture includes women's matches. And if we remember the last European Championship, it's pretty exciting. I think that especially the final match will be talked about for many years.
So What Happened in the 2019 European Championship Final?
The final match was played in the capital of Turkey, namely Ankara. I think it was one of the most important matches played in Turkey so far. Audience support was also very high. I have never seen so many people support a game played in Turkey before. With this match, Turks started to give more importance to volleyball. At least they weren't ignoring it anymore.
Serbia and Turkey met in the final match. It was a game in which both teams struggled a lot. Some actors gave their best performances to date. I think especially Brankica Mihajlovic is the name that won the match. She played perfectly and was on the side that won the medal.
Of course, we cannot assume only Brankica Mihajlovic as a success factor. But she was the one who made the difference. Serbia is not a team that usually plays team games. They usually score points with Boskovic and Mihajlovic. Boskovic is a very consistent name and plays very well almost every match. Mihajlovic can have a bad day sometimes. But I can say that they played a great team game in the final match they won in 2019. Each player contributed to the score. I don't even need to mention that Maja is a great passer.
On the Turkish front, there is only one problem that I see as big. Opposite players are not consistent enough. It is obvious that Meliha is very good at defense. But Meryem and Ebrar didn't help enough. And when the star players of the opposing team were Boskovic and Mihajlovic, this created a big problem for Turkey.
One of the star players of the match was the captain of the Turkish team, Eda Erdem Dündar. Her blocks in critical places were very motivating for her team. She has all the qualities that a captain should have. I hope we can continue to watch her on the court for many years to come.
Finally, I would like to talk about the dream team of 2019. I think it was a nice dream team. We talked about all the players in the dream team frequently throughout the tournament.

Due to her injury, Brankica Mihajlovic will not take part in this year's European Championship. Stefana Veljkovic will end her volleyball career after this tournament. Russia's star players will not be in this tournament. Frankly, I think the medals will be won by different teams this time. We will watch and see this together.

Peki Ne Olmuştu 2019 Avrupa Şampiyonası Finalinde?
Final maçı Türkiye'nin başkentinde yani Ankara'da oynandı. Sanırım Türkiye'de şu ana kadar oynanan en önemli maçlardan biriydi. Seyirci desteği de çok yüksekti. Daha önce Türkiye'de oynanan bir maçta bu kadar çok insanın destek verdiğini hiç görmemiştim. Bu maçla birlikte Türkler voleybola daha çok önem vermeye başladı. En azından artık görmezden gelmiyorlardı.
Final maçında Sırbistan ve Türkiye karşılaştı. İki takımın da çok fazla mücadele ettiği bir maçtı. Bazı oyuncular o güne kadar ki en iyi performanslarını sergilediler. Özellikle Brankica Mihajlovic'in maçı kazandıran isim olduğunu düşünüyorum. Mükemmel oynadı ve madalyayı kazanan tarafta yer aldı.
Tabii ki başarı faktörü olarak sadece Brankica Mihajlovic'i sayamayız. Ama fark yaratan kişi oydu. Sırbistan genelde takım oyunu oynayan bir takım değildir. Genellikle Boskovic ve Mihajlovic ile sayı kazanırlar. Boskovic çok istikrarlı bir isim ve neredeyse her maç çok iyi oynar. Mihajlovic bazen kötü bir gün geçirebiliyor. Ama 2019'da kazandıkları final maçında harika bir takım oyunu oynadıklarını söyleyebilirim. Her oyuncunun skorda katkısı vardı. Maja'nın harika bir pasör olduğundan söz etmeye gerek bile duymuyorum.
Türkiye cephesinde ise büyük olarak gördüğüm tek bir sorun var. Çapraz oyuncuları yeterince istikrarlı değiller. Meliha'nın defans konusunda çok iyi olduğu aşikar. Ama Meryem ve Ebrar yeteri kadar yardımcı olamadı. Ve karşı takımın yıldız oyuncuları da Boskovic ve Mihajlovic olunca bu Türkiye için büyük bir sıkıntı oluşturdu.
Maçın star oyuncularından biri de Türkiye takımının kaptanı Eda Erdem Dündar'dı. Kritik yerlerde yaptığı savunmalar takımı için çok motive ediciydi. Bir kaptanda olması gereken tüm özellikleri taşıyor. Umarım onu uzun yıllar boyunca sahada izlemeye devam edebiliriz.
Son olarak da 2019'un rüya takımından bahsetmek istiyorum. Bence güzel bir rüya takımdı. Rüya takımda yer alan tüm oyunculardan turnuva boyunca sıklıkla bahsetmiştik.

Rusya'nın ise star oyuncularının hiçbiri bu turnuvada olmayacak. Açıkçası madalyaların bu sefer farklı takımlar tarafından kazanılacağını düşünüyorum. Bunu hep birlikte izleyip göreceğiz.
