Ten Hag said he didn't want the match to make record in Christiano Ronaldo's career and that is why he didn't play him in the second half. Hag may be right for that but the fact that he didn't play Ronaldo in the first half mean he just don't want to play Ronaldo in the match at all. If Ronaldo had played, I'm sure the match can't end in that poor result for Manchester United because the Manchester City defenders would fear Ronaldo and then won't join the attack. Let's just say Ten Hag didn't have faith in Christiano Ronaldo.
