I Feel They Need an Escape, Do You?

The transfer window is gradually counting down with some fans being happy and some just so pained like myself but nevertheless, with good football we stand!

I made a little list of players that I feel needs an escape from their current situation/club; I really can't explain why but Dembele tops my list and for many reasons I could think of, I feel he does really need to jog out of Barcelona any moment from now.

With no doubt, Barcelona spent a lot to have him in the club but then, it's been how many years now? He hasn't really been what they hoped for and I am sure not what him hoped for himself too.

Subsequent injuries had taken the bright chances aways from him and that over the years had cost Barcelona so much and personally, I do not feel the team could trust him to still be a big deal for the team but another thing is;

Unlike many other big teams, Barcelona doesn't like to make losses on players and considering how much Barcelona got him for as at 2017, well, I don't think they can make that much from selling him again even with the age factor but does Dembele still has living hopes at Barcelona?

The 25 years old had 1 goal and 13 assists in 21 appearances for Barcelona in the league last season, a stats that I think is his best in his past three seasons in the club but would that be enough to buy him more trusts from the club for next season? I just feel he should leave for good and what are your thoughts?

Another case study I've got is Sterling, there's no doubt that Sterling is a good player and he's just 27, though he still gets playing time at City but it's very obvious that he isn't a favourite anymore and there are just so many more good challenger in the team with him.

This is personal, I am not implying that him staying in City is bad at the moment but I would also say with what's going on in the club, he could just be more lucky if Bernardo Silva leaves perhaps this summer and I think, with Haaland's arrival, it would be difficult to see more of Sterling on the score sheets. Just my personal view!

With the whole drama at United, it's Ronaldo I pitied the most because he's a ready made player and now United is more like a team that just got promoted to the EPL and that's telling on his career already and I still feel it could tell even more if the team refuses to improve its quality next season.

There has been lots of speculations lately that he's been linked with Bayern Munich and some other big teams just to find a way out of United; Well, I do not think Ronaldo could leave during this window.

Of course many teams would be glad to have him even as it stands, though United had a terrible season but he had a great individual performance which shows how much of a great asset he is, and now the question is.....

Is staying as United not dangerous for him at the moment?

I personally would say it's dangerous because even as a fan all my hopes are tied to a miracle and miracles don't happen often but it's still left to Cristiano to decide if he would risk it all with United or not.

Frenkie De Jong is another player that I feel needs escape, I know this could sound cliche but personally, I feel if any other big team and not United had shown interest in this player, he would said something about leaving Barcelona because I do not feel he's enjoying his experience as Barcelona.

For a fact, De Jong had actually featured in majority of Barcelona's matches since his arrival but the truth that he's playing outside his desired position, I think that's enough to make a player one to leave.

He was never placed ahead of Sergio Busquets and that for me, is enough for a player like him to want to leave but maybe not to United.

I would be glad to read your verdicts and thoughts on what I feel about these players, kindly share as comments below, thanks!
