We're back, let normality resume after the intensity of Euro2020. I quite enjoyed our special Euro2020 contest and I think the format worked quite well but it took a lot of effort collating the results and updating the league table and so I'm not sure yet whether I will follow a similar format for the new Premier League season but there's still time to think about it.

So Atletico GO in 11th entertain top of the table Palmeiras who sit proudly at the head of the table after 11 games and a great run which has seen them win their last 5 games. Atletico Go started so well but quickly lost the momentum and this has seen them slip away from the leaders and they will want to put on a good show to try and reverse that form at home today. Let's hope Ze Roberto has his shooting boots on as they try and recreate the form that saw them beat the mighty Corinthians earlier in the season!

Willian's return to the starting line-up for Palmeiras could be key and he will be hoping to add to the three goals he has already this season whilst Gabriel Menino will be sorely missed as he is away on international duty.

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goalscorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 45 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all payouts will never exceed 50% of post payout. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.
