Well, the Chilean league seemed rather popular yesterday and we finally had a Correct score winner who got the 1-0 score. Happily for my wallet, no one got the first goalscorer as almost everyone chose Figueroa! Full details at the end.
But today, with the Euros being only a week or so from starting, the warm-up friendlies have started and so I thought we'd take a look at this game...

Poland's form has been sketchy to say the least coming into this competition with only a win against Bosnia in their last 5 games. They will, however, be boosted by the return of talismanic Robert Lewandowski who has recovered from a knee injury and had three outings for Bayern Munich to improve his match fitness.
Most importantly though, and what will swing it for Poland is that they have Leeds' very own Mateusz Klich in the squad who will totally control the Ruskies in midfield!
Russia have also lost 3 of their last 5 but at least they are firing in goals with Artem Dzyuba keeping up his impressive form with 29 goals from 50 games.
Obviously, the problem with games like these is there will be many substitutions as coaches test out their best formations so the result doesn't really matter to them as its about bonding and practise.

The Small Print
In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goalscorer or correct score, the prize is shared and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 45 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all payouts will never exceed 50% of post payout. Other bonuses paid out at my discretion.
